Cars in the Ambiente version had only one airbag, power steering, folding in parts backseat, immobilizer. As a matter of fact, that's all. And for such things as additional airbags (there could be 4 pillows + 2 curtains in total), ABS, a stabilization system or air conditioning / climate control, you had to pay extra. However, there are not very many very poor Fiestas on the secondary market (and even then they are mainly brought from Europe). Russian buyers preferred cars with electric drives, music and air conditioning. Such cars, of course, are preferable to the "naked" Fiesta, but they are much more expensive. There are no questions about the reliability of the electrical equipment. And, perhaps, the only complaint about the quality of the interior assembly concerns the squeaks that appear on some machines that come from the right front seat (you need to lubricate, although it does not always help).

On sale you can find two versions of the Fiesta - with a 3- and 5-door body. Purely theoretically, you can buy and ... a sedan. Yes, yes, in 2004, Fiesta began to be made in such a body, but such cars were sold only in South America and India. But still, there is one “sore” that annoys many Fiesta owners - the hood lock does not work well, which sometimes refuses to perform its functions at all. Naturally, it usually turns out that the hood does not open or close at the most inopportune moment ... The lock is treated, as a rule, with grease. Although the owners of the Fiesta do not have as many complaints about the hood as, say, the same Focus owners. There, we recall, the hood is opened not as usual with a cable from the passenger compartment, but with the help of a special lock located under the emblem (naturally, dirt, salt and other muck constantly get into the lock).

The Fiesta sold in Europe was equipped with not only gasoline, but also economical diesel engines. Such units with a volume of 1.4 liters (68 hp) and 1.6 liters (90 hp) were very popular in Europe, but they were not officially sold here, and distillers do not really like to bring them to Russia diesel cars. They're just harder to sell than traditional petrol Fiestas. But the masters who had experience with diesel Fiesta assure that there are no complaints about the reliability of the engines.
