Aventador coupé is an unyielding force. How much does a Lamborghini cost? Exclusive models of the famous supercar and their prices

In 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show Lamborghini company introduced its new flagship model called LP-700-4 Aventador.

According to tradition, the flagship was named after the famous bull named Aventador, awarded the title "Trofeo de la Peña La Madroñera" for extraordinary ferocity and victories in the arena in Zaragoza.

The release of the new supercar, which replaced the previous model Murciélago, began in 2011 and continued until 2014. With 3,646 models produced, the Lamborghini Aventador is the second largest supercar after the Murciélago.

The body structure of the Italian supercar uses a specially patented technology of heavy-duty composite materials with very high rigidity, exceeding this parameter in other supercar models by 20-50%.

When designing the hull, it was thoroughly blown in a wind tunnel, as is done in the development of the hull of combat aircraft. Therefore, the angles of inclination of body parts and its profile are designed to minimize air resistance to a minimum value.

In order to lighten the supercar, almost all elements of the aerodynamic body kit are integrated directly into the body structure. Despite this and the widespread use of composite materials, the Lamborghini LP-700-4 has a fairly high mass of 1575 kg - the Pagani Zonda supercar has this figure of only 1070 kg.

According to company president Stephan Winkelmann, the design of the new Lamborghini combines a commitment to classic forms and a completely new approach to design. The front part with massive air intakes is made squat, in the traditional style of the supercars of this model.

A small splitter is located at the bottom of the bumper, and the lower part of each air intake is also made protruding, providing additional stability.

Before the arches rear wheels there are two more large air intakes that direct air to the motor. Also at the back there are two large side diffusers through which a directed air flow is created, and a block of nozzles exhaust system at the bottom.

The optics of the supercar is of interest - bi-xenon headlight lamps, as well as rear LED lights, are made in the form of the letter Y, like in Reventon. They underscore the overall daring design of the Lamborghini Aventador.

Dimensions:

  • length - 4780 mm,
  • width - 2265 mm,
  • height - 1136 mm.
  • wheelbase - 2700 mm.

Interior

When looking at the interior of the Lamborghini Aventador, it becomes clear that the trends of the jet fighter, embodied in the design of the body, have continued into the interior. The interior is completely made of carbon fiber with polished aluminum inserts and genuine leather.

The instrument panel with analog markings shows the status of the engine, and the center console has a large LCD display of the on-board computer, control keys for the main systems, an ignition button and an audio system. And that's all - no frills, everything is stylish and restrained.

Specifications

While most manufacturers tend to "shrink" their engines by downsizing the number of cylinders, Automobili Lamborghini is true to the good old V12. For the first time in several years, the LP-700-4 received a new L539 V12 naturally aspirated engine with a displacement of 6498 cm3 and a camber angle of 60 ° between the cylinders, not modernized, but developed from scratch.

The engine power at 8250 rpm is 700 horsepower, and the maximum torque of 690 Nm is already reached at 5500 rpm, that is, even faster than the engine reaches operating speed. The same engine, with minor modifications, was subsequently installed on the Lamborghini Veneno hybrid supercar.

The motor is located at the rear and is aggregated with a seven-speed E-Gear preselective transmission with two “dry” clutches, which allow to reduce the gear shift speed to 50 ms. Thanks to this, Aventador accelerates to 100 km / h in just 2.9 s, and maximum speed supercar is 350 km/h.

The transmission has three driving modes, and gear shifting is done through the paddles on the steering wheel. Torque is transmitted to the wheels thanks to the all-wheel drive system with Haldex viscous coupling.

Controllability

According to Lamborghini's public relations department, the Aventador is the first Lamborghini model to prioritize handling over speed and acceleration. According to many automotive experts, the supercar really steers very easily and precisely and enters corners perfectly. This is partly the merit of a completely new independent suspension with push rods, the design of which is borrowed from Formula 1 cars.

The supercar is also equipped with modern electronic systems, including exchange rate stability, as well as amazing Pirelli racing tires for incredible traction.

But most experts reacted coolly to such an unexpected change in company policy. In their opinion, improved handling deprived the car of the spirit of the unbridled animal flaunting on the Lamborghini logo - each time the driver had to tame the obstinate temper of his supercar.

But let's be honest - no matter how incredible and easy the handling of the Aventador is, 700 horsepower per one and a half tons of weight is very, very much, especially at speeds over 250 km / h.

Options and prices Lamborghini Aventador

In the basic version, the supercar will cost the buyer about $ 350,000 - about 22 million in rubles. But in addition to the basic version, several more expensive modifications were produced:

  • Aventador Roadster is a roadster version with a folding roof. By their own technical specifications is no different from the basic coupe version and costs almost the same.
  • Aventador LP-720-4 50° Anniversario is an anniversary version of 200 cars in two body styles. Equipped with boosted up to 720 hp. engine, upgraded front and rear with improved aerodynamics, a new interior and a number of small additions. It is offered in a single color - bright yellow Giallo Maggio. The price of the anniversary version is $400,000 (25.2 million rubles).
  • Aventador LP-750-4 SV. In this modification, the engineers managed to increase the engine power to 750 hp, while reducing the weight by 90 kg. The suspension work has also been reconfigured, wheel disks oversized and slightly reduced ground clearance. All these improvements made it possible to accelerate to 100 km / h in 2.6 and exceed the threshold of 350 km / h and the price of the Aventador SV starts from 330 thousand euros (23.33 million rubles)

OVERVIEW

Forget your idea of power. The Aventador Coupé was created to revolutionize and set the new benchmark for supercars. Aventador is a car that defines the future. A true legend in the world of supercars, the model combines the tradition of the Lamborghini brand with cutting-edge innovation and technology created by the brand.

EMOTIONS

A true work of art, hand-built in Sant'Agata Bolognese, the V12 engine is perfectly balanced and mounted longitudinally in the middle of the body. Superb acceleration at any RPM, lightning-fast responsiveness and mesmerizing sound. Aventador vividly demonstrate the amazing power of this power unit- the real heart of a supercar that can take you to where everything is possible: once there, you will not want to return. The feeling you get when you go beyond what is possible is truly indescribable.

DESIGN

The term "design" is not enough to describe appearance models. This is the calling card of the brand that created the world history of supercars. Lamborghini supercars must be recognizable at first sight. That's why every detail of the Aventador Coupé embodies Lamborghini DNA: a true design masterpiece that exudes dynamism and aggression, making the carbon fiber monocoque a symbol of innovation driven by our R&D department. The result: a vehicle that delivers a truly unforgettable driving experience. Emotions do not leave you even when you turn off the engine.

INTERIOR

Inside, the Aventador Coupé is a combination of exclusivity and high-tech luxury: the hand-crafted interior, which uses the highest quality materials, is assembled by a team of professionals using traditional methods, in harmony with the advanced technologies of the innovative instrument panel. Just like in a modern aircraft, the gauges are displayed on an innovative interactive TFT display. The second TFT-screen in the central part of the front panel is responsible for the operation of multimedia and navigation functions.

Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador, perhaps, can be safely called one of the best sports cars of this Italian concern, released in the XXI century. Every detail about this car is interesting. Starting with the title. The advertisement said that Aventador was a famous bull, famous for one of the bloodiest fights in Zaragoza, for which he received a prestigious award for bravery in the arena. However, the technical details relating directly to the model are much more interesting.

Appearance

One of the main tasks set before the creators of the Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador was to reduce the weight of the car to the minimum possible. And it was possible to achieve the goal - all thanks to the carbon fiber used in the production process. The mass of the model is 1,575 kg, which, in comparison with its predecessor Murcielago, is 147 kg less. The body has become not only lighter, but also stronger - by as much as 70%.

You can talk about design for a long time, but it's better to look once. Photo provided above.

But there is also the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster. The main difference between it and the first model is the unique upper profile. The design attracts attention with perfectly adjusted geometric lines. Removable roof, consisting of two parts, connected to the hood. It is made from carbon fibre. The roof is light but strong, easy to use and fits in the trunk. True, you need to remove it manually and install it too. There are no difficulties in this regard, but the fact that the model costs $ 750,000, and there is no automatic function, is puzzling.

Developments

Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador immediately attracted the attention of potential buyers. Not only because of the appearance. It was in it that the developers of this concern first applied the "start / stop" system, due to which it is possible to restart the engine in 0.18 seconds after it stops.

And another feature is the CDS system. It disables one row of cylinders if the load is too low and the speed is below 130 km/h.

Characteristics

Under the hood, the Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador has a 700-horsepower 6.5-liter V-engine with 12 cylinders. It is driven by a 7-speed gearbox.

Interestingly, the unit of this model has become lighter by as much as 235 kilograms than that of its predecessor Murcielago. And it has a higher compression ratio.

The speedometer needle reaches 100 km/h in less than three seconds. And the maximum to which the car can accelerate is 350 km / h. And yes, the Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador is an all-wheel drive car. In which 43% of the torque is transmitted to the front wheels. Everything else is in the back. But at certain points, if necessary, 60% is transferred to the front wheels. Interestingly, the first kilometer after the start of "Aventador" overcomes a little more than 19 seconds.

By the way, after some time, the 4SV model was released. In fact - the same "Aventador". Only the prefix appeared in the name, and the engine produces not 700, but 900 "horses". Only 10 of these machines were produced.

Equipment

Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, the price of which is very rather big, has a powerful package. ABS, ESP, airbags (side and front), air conditioning, climate control, power steering, on-board computer, cruise control - this is just a small list of what is in the model. It is worth noting the presence of adjustments for the sports steering wheel, sports seats with settings, heated electric mirrors, bi-xenon headlights, central locking, immobilizer, audio preparation and sound system, Hi-Fi - this car really has everything you need. And finishing - only high-quality genuine leather and carbon fiber. There is even a small trunk with a volume of 110 liters. However, since this is a sports car, this compartment will be enough. A small travel bag can fit just fine.

So, this is all the most basic thing you need to know about this model of the Lamborghini concern. Luxurious, dynamic, surprising Aventador. According to the data, there are less than 3,700 such cars in the world.

The feeling that you experience on a powerful car by pressing the gas pedal all the way down is simply impossible to put into words. Engineers, following the tastes of lovers of speed and insane power, are making more and more technically advanced cars, with motors with a capacity of 1000 horsepower, which are at risk of being driven by a few. Meet the ten most powerful production cars in the world, which can be bought by anyone with an extra million other dollars.

Power: 1200 horsepower

This supercar designed by Kurt Lotterschmied is hand-assembled, where even the carbon fiber bodywork is glued by hand. On average, it takes one year to manufacture one machine. Here is installed a completely insane 6-liter V12 engine borrowed from the Mercedes-Benz W140. Lotec Sirius is designed for completely reckless people who are not afraid of anything. From auxiliary electronic systems helping to control and manage the machine here is only ABS. Actually, due to the lack of electronic assistants, it loses to competitors in acceleration to hundreds, the wheels simply slip at the start due to insane torque.

Power: 1200 horsepower

Hennessey Venom GT is a deadly car, you can't lose your vigilance behind the wheel of a bark, and all because of the herd of horses hidden under the hood. They put a 6.2-liter V8 engine with two turbines from the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, with a capacity of 1200 horsepower. The car has long been a monster on paper with amazing performance, but in 2010, finally began their mass production.

Power: 1200 horsepower

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, which was created to set records, climbed to the ninth place of the most cars in the world, which it successfully did, today it is officially considered the fastest car in the world. To do this, they worked a little on aerodynamics and increased the power of the W16 engine to 1200 horsepower.

Power: 1220 horsepower

Above this Lamborghini Gallardo Tuning studio Dallas Performance worked, paying special attention to the already good 5.2-liter V10 engine, on which the Stage 3 package was installed, which made it possible to squeeze 1220 horsepower from the engine. Updated fuel supply, new firmware for electronic block control, two turbines and a small fraction of what the engineers had to do to get maximum power.

Power: 1243 horsepower

The American tuning studio Hennessey Performance turned the Cadillac CTS-V into a real king of the roads capable of challenging any European supercar. The secret weapon was a V-shaped eight-cylinder aluminum engine with a volume that was increased to seven liters and installed two turbines, bringing the power to 1200 horsepower.

Power: 1250 horsepower

The most powerful Italian car is the Lamborghini Aventador LP1250-4 Roadster Mansory Carbonado, reminiscent of a spaceship that accidentally landed on earth. The supercar boasts a twelve-cylinder V-twin engine with 1,200 horsepower.

Power: 1287 horsepower

The honor of the Americans in the ranking of the most powerful cars in the world is defended by the SSC Ultimate Aero TT. Here is a 6.3-liter bi-turbo V-engine borrowed from the Chevrolet Corvette C5R, from which everything was squeezed out and where the Aeromotive fuel supply system was installed,.

Power: 1300 horsepower

The HTT Locus Plethore LC-1300 is from the Formula 1 racetrack. At the heart of the car is a carbon monocoque, on which panels of composite materials are hung, giving the car a civilized look. The driver sits in the center, behind which there are two passenger seats in the back row. The car received a seriously modified 6.2-liter turbocharged V8 engine borrowed from the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, which produces 1,300 horsepower uphill.

Power: 1350 horsepower

Second place went to the purebred American SSC Tuatara, which boasts a 6.9-liter V8 biturbo engine with 1,350 horsepower.

Power: 1500 horsepower

Meet the most powerful car in the world comes from Japan Nissan GT-R AMS Alpha 12. The monster was created by the tuning studio AMS Performance, which seriously modified the V6 VR38DETT engine. The cylinders were bored out, the engine volume was increased to 4 liters, the cylinder head was completely replaced and the firmware for the control electronics was written from scratch, which makes the engine work in a more aggressive mode. But this turned out to be not enough, so a more efficient turbine and intercooler were installed. To squeeze 1500 horsepower out of the Nissan GT-R AMS Alpha 12, you need to fill in a special grade of gasoline that racing teams use. Having refueled at a regular gas station with 98 gasoline, you can’t squeeze more than 1100 horsepower out of the engine.

The most extreme Lamborghini Aventador SVJ supercar was presented at a special event as part of Monterey Car Week at the end of August 2018, and its world premiere took place in October at the Paris Motor Show 2018

On the outside, the new Lamborghini Aventador SVJ (derived from the SV for "Super Veloce" and Jota, referring to the Miura 400 Jota prototype) has received a host of cosmetic changes, but they're all part of active aerodynamics.

Compared to other versions of the model, this version is distinguished by a completely redesigned front bumper with air ducts in the upper part, door sills, original cover engine compartment, as well as a double wing of an unusual shape.

In addition, the supercar received a redesigned diffuser and exhaust with two round pipes in the rear between the lights. There are also wheels of the original design, “shod” in special Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires with a dimension of 255/30 R20 at the front and 355/25 R21 at the rear, and for an extra charge you can order track Pirelli tires P Zero Trofeo R.

In the interior of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, there are no cardinal differences from the updated one - except that the finish provides for a wider use of suede and a lot of carbon fiber inserts, and as an option for a car, you can order a proprietary telemetry system.

Apparently, the Aventador SVJ will be the brand's last supercar with a V12 engine without any electrical add-ons. Here, the 6.5-liter aspirated was boosted to 770 hp. and 720 Nm of torque, while the "eske" it produces 750 forces. The engine is paired with a seven-band ISR robot.

It takes 2.8 seconds to accelerate from zero to hundreds of supercars, it takes the mark of 200 km / h in 8.6 seconds. (- 0.2), and the maximum speed reaches 351 kilometers per hour. The brakes here are carbon-ceramic with 400mm discs and six-piston calipers in front and 380mm and four-piston calipers in the rear. To stop from 100 km / h, the car needs exactly 30 meters.

The dry weight of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is 1,525 kg (- 50), the weight-to-power ratio is 1.98 kilograms per horsepower. In the presence of a fully controlled chassis and adaptive shock absorbers with magnetorheological fluid (they were made 15% stiffer). In addition, steering settings, ABS and stabilization systems have been calibrated for the coupe, and stabilizers roll stability became a third less pliable.

But the main thing here is the Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva active aerodynamics system, which first appeared on a supercar. The idea is that the electronics control special flaps located in a variety of ventilation ducts. All this allows you to adjust the level of downforce, providing either a high maximum speed or stability when cornering.

At top speed, the aerodynamic tail of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ generates 490 kg of downforce (+ 40%), and in corners the ALA 2.0 system works in such a way as to load the left and right sides differently.

Six months after the premiere of the coupe, the Italians prepared an open Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster, equipped with a similar engine, the same Graziano robot with one clutch, all-wheel drive, fully controlled chassis and active aerodynamics. The removable hardtop here consists of two halves that must be removed manually and stored in the front trunk.

Compared to the coupe, the dry weight of the roadster has increased by only 50 kg (to 1,575), so dynamic characteristics not particularly affected. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 2.9 seconds (+ 0.1), to 200 km / h - 8.8 seconds. (+ 0.2), the top speed exceeds 350 kilometers per hour. In total, only 800 of these cars will be produced at a price of 387,000 euros, excluding taxes.

As a result, the car managed to overcome the 20.6-kilometer lap along the Nordschleife in 6 minutes and 44.97 seconds, setting a new record, leaving behind with its six mines and 47.3 seconds.

The price of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is 349,116 euros (this is 517,770 dollars or about 27.3 million rubles excluding taxes), and only 900 copies will be produced in total, plus 63 cars will be made in a special version of the SVJ 63 - in honor of the year the Italian company was founded. Later, a similar roadster appeared, and then the Aventador era would come to its logical conclusion.
