Indeed, on the “Priora” sedan, which I had a chance to test two years ago, the glove box closed with difficulty, the exterior mirrors vibrated, the hatch for transporting long objects, located in the back of the rear seat, jammed ..
And in general, everything there somehow creaked suspiciously and did not inspire any confidence. Therefore, with special predilection, I walked my hand through dashboard and upholstery. But this time I didn’t find any frank hack-work: the gaps between the panels and interior details became smoother and smaller, nothing seems to creak in the cabin .. Well, you can move off.

It is necessary, of course, to pay attention to this. Although there is nothing much to say about practicality, unfortunately. The trunk volume of the station wagon is exactly the same as that of the predecessor “Lada-111” - 450 liters (if you load luggage up to the window line) and 777 liters (with the rear seats folded down). The indicators are mediocre - for other station wagons of the compact class, the capacity of the cargo compartment is very close, and in some cases exceeds a thousand liters.
And after all, what’s interesting is that the station wagon is 5.5 cm longer than the “eleventh”, why didn’t the trunk get bigger? The fact is that external dimensions increased mainly due to more “chubby” bumpers - this did not affect the interior space in any way.
In fairness, it must be said that the luggage compartment here is made sensibly. To facilitate loading, the edge of the fifth door was placed quite low, for which purpose a notch was made specially in the rear bumper. Actually, this is a long-standing disease of the models of the “tenth” family, but the “Priora” sedans and hatchbacks have already recovered from it. And here's a surprise - on the station wagon, a chronic ailment again reminded of itself .. The reason is the unsuccessfully selected characteristics of springs and shock absorbers. Therefore, in more or less serious turns, Priora does not behave in the best way and reluctantly reacts to the rotation of the steering wheel - at first it almost completely selects the suspension travel, and only then, with a strong trim, it enters the turn on board.
Representatives of AvtoVAZ with such an opinion about driving performance wagon did not argue.
