The advantages and disadvantages of the Datsun on-DO 2018-2019 in a new body are identified based on feedback from real owners. More detailed pros and cons of Datsun on-DO with mechanics and automatic can be found in the stories below.

Owner reviews

Impressions from a car worth half a million deteriorated six months later, when rust began to climb on all four doors of the cabin. Next are the thresholds, today I found rust on inside front hood. In general, iron rots earlier than on the Soviet Zhiguli, which began to rot after 3 years of operation.

Video review

The car is worth the money, but only in 2014. The quality has not changed over time, but the price has grown significantly. This car is not my first, there were 2 fours VAZ 2104 and VAZ 21111. Of course, Datsun he-DO is better in terms of comfort, but I haven’t seen worse in assembly and painting. The whole salon rattles, the paint falls off in layers, they are rude in the car dealership and do not accept claims, they blame everything on the owner.

Kuzma Gerasimov, drives a Datsun on-DO 1.6 (87 hp) MT 2014

Normal car, for 60,000 km nothing but oil has changed. Auto working in taxi mode all day. I skated the winter with a bang, the winding was without problems, the signaling was native without a car factory, I changed the oil after 10,000 km, I only poured 5/40 synthetics nord myself Belgium.

Kurt, drives a Datsun on-DO 1.6 (87 hp) MT 2015

I have it-DO in the Trust configuration, I took a VAZ 2114 to replace it. I was pleased with the power steering, lighting, trunk volume. The dynamics are good. At the second thousand kilometers, the engine malfunction lamp turned on on the dashboard. Already mileage of 9,000 km, the malfunction did not betray itself. I operate in St. Petersburg, I drive along the Ring Road. It behaves very unstable at speed - it sways noticeably to the left and right. If rutting is present, then you can generally lose control.

The side windows don't go all the way down. The interior mirror is wretched — nothing is visible, you can’t change it for a panoramic one — the sun visors interfere. There is not enough turn signal in the mirrors, the buzzer for turning on the turns is tiring, you have to turn on the turn signal just before the turn, if only to listen to it less. With a sharp acceleration, especially with slipping, the engine can abruptly drop to the minimum speed, which, when overtaking and especially when turning left at a traffic light, can cause an accident.

Sergey Fluerar, review about Datsun on-DO 1.6 (87 hp) on the mechanics of 2015

Where could I buy?

I took it in January 2017 in the Dream 1 configuration. Quite a decent device (after the VAZ 15). The box buzzes like everyone else, the brake pads whistle, the stove podglyuchivaet (it blows in the wrong direction in auto mode).

Consumption until the run-in and only the city — 12.5 liters. I liked one more feature - foam rubber in the left central deflector - supposedly technological feature. I also noticed that the taillights fog up in the cold after washing and fog lights. In frosts at -30 degrees, there is not enough effort to open the rear left door, you need to help with your hands.

Review of Datsun on-DO 1.6 mechanics 2016

So far, the impressions are only positive, I have only had a car for 2 weeks, and so far I have dashed off 300 km. There is a running car, and I also get used to it. I can say that the pair of engine and gearbox does not work badly. The climate is very cool: the weather was from +15 to +28, and he works at "5".

Clearance is good, especially on our dead roads. The suspension pleases with a balance of stiffness and softness, it definitely earns on “4”, a kind of average. I'm getting used to the wheel. At Datsun he-DO he is electric. Capacity and permeability will rate a solid "5".

Datsun models are firmly conquering Russian market and their number on the roads is growing exponentially. However, many still doubt the advisability of purchasing a Japanese on-Do sedan, thinking about whether to give preference to it, or save a little and buy Russian car? Or even buy a used foreign car? In search of an answer, they re-read forums with reviews from real Datsun On-Do owners over and over again in order to find out in advance about weak points sedan. Quite a lot of time has passed since the launch of Datsun in the series, so it is already possible to draw certain conclusions about the reliability of the model.

How is the reliability of He-Do?

Fallacy of thinking

Often in reviews of the Datsun on-Do you can find angry exclamations regarding the lack of " pleasant things”, like a mirror in the visors, an armrest, niches for telephones, disks and the like. However, do not forget that this is a matter of equipment, and if during the inspection or test drive the future owner did not pay attention to such moments or decided to save on equipment, then the car and the company should not be blamed for this.

Basic equipment is one of the reasons for complaints about on-Do. But reliability has nothing to do with it.

The main aspects that forum visitors pay attention to while viewing feedback on he-Do are reliability, expense, ease of use, maintenance cost, possible improvements, operations that can be performed independently, etc.

In general, reviews of the Datsun on-Do are positive. Of course, it cannot do without negative ones, but they are clearly a minority. In addition, it is always necessary to take into account the subjective factor, namely, from which car its current owner moved to Datsun.

Positive reviews

They, as a rule, relate to acceptable driving characteristics, good suspension performance, a high-torque engine, a huge trunk, a fairly quiet cabin, and more.

Oleg

So, the owner of he-Do Oleg from Moscow acquired new sedan February 23, 2015, but released on December 15, 2014, with manual transmission and an 87-horsepower engine in the Dream 1 version. Together with OSAGO, CASCO and some extras (rugs, Winter tires and so on) it cost him 450,000 rubles. At the moment, the car has traveled 27,000 km on plains, highways, mountainous terrain, serpentines and country roads. Oleg's opinion is especially important, since by the nature of his activity he travels a lot (300-500 km daily).

Oleg is very pleased with his choice.

At first, he-Do was controlled a little nervously, but after 1,000 km of break-in everything became normal. The owner notes the good dynamics of the engine, which is enough for overtaking even with the climate control on, with a flow rate of 7 liters of AI-95 on the highway. Noise isolation is not bad, the seats are comfortable, pleases a large trunk. The clearance is also sufficient to drive to the country house or along the country road without hitting anything.

Nikita

This is a review from a Kazakh customer who bought a brand new, 87-horsepower He-Do with a manual, trust 1 configuration in Aktobe just a month ago. The issue price is 1,590,000 tenge. Mileage is still extremely small - only 600 km. Nevertheless, Nikita notes that the car holds the road well, and does not lag behind in the stream. I really like the roomy trunk, which is very important for big family. The sedan is spacious and high, the visibility is excellent, including due to the high seating position, and there is enough space in the back, ground clearance also pleases. At the moment serious problems on the technical side is not observed.

Nikita's sedan from Kazakhstan also does not cause any special problems to its owner.

Victor

He bought a Datsun he-Do 2014 in Yekaterinburg, in February 2015, with an 82 hp engine. from. and MT. The car is operated quite actively and today the mileage has already reached 30,000 km. He is pleased with many advantages of the car, of which he especially notes good, as for its class, handling and a small turning radius. In addition, a well-tuned power steering, high ground clearance, as well as easy operation of the clutch and accelerator pedals give him the opportunity to drive quite confidently.

Impressive ground clearance - many Datsun owners highlight this parameter. And Victor is no exception.

He also highlights fast warm-up cabin in the cold, a huge trunk, high-quality optics, and also the excellent work of the suspension, which quietly swallows small pits and bumps. Victor had no problems starting in cold weather. In addition, he suggests that many parts should come with Grants, which will reduce the cost of an already not too expensive service.

Sergei

Sergey became the owner of he-Do in 2014, having bought it in the Kursk car dealership. His choice fell on an 82-horsepower sedan with "mechanics". He admits that one of the most important arguments, in addition to the price, was the volume of the trunk, since Sergey travels a lot by car and often uses the car for work. And now the mileage on the odometer is 16,000 km. But in general, he-DO is a modern budget car with all basic amenities.

A huge trunk is one of the reasons why Sergey bought On-Do.

Among other things, Sergei notes low cost TO, since TO-1 cost him only 4,500 rubles. He is satisfied with reliability, and the options of technical assistance on the way and free diagnostics before long trip guarantee a safe journey.

Negative Feedback

They are also sufficient. Nevertheless, it is worthwhile to understand that some owners of he-Do simply make excessive demands on the car. For example, they complain about the lack of dynamics, forgetting that there are 82 or 87 hp engines under the hood. s., and the like. In addition, it should be clarified that many negative reviews are related precisely to the work of dealers, who often impose additional supplements on buyers, avoid replacing components under warranty, preferring to repair defective components, overestimate the cost of maintenance and spare parts, etc.

The attitude of Datsun dealers is the source of many problems and negative reviews.

Yes, and the already noted car owners complain about some points. So, Oleg from Moscow draws attention to the fragility of plastic latches, the weakness of the paintwork and the hum from the air conditioning compressor. Nikita from Aktobe has complaints about the accuracy of the checkpoint and the dealer's attitude towards customers. Victor from Yekaterinburg blames the noise of the checkpoint and poor sound insulation. Sergei from Kursk does not like the driver's seat, in which he can not find a comfortable fit.

Dmitry

Dmitry became the owner of he-Do in October 2014, when he bought a sedan with a manual transmission and an 87-horsepower engine in a car dealership in the city of Tyumen. The total mileage was 12,000 km. At the moment, he has several reasons to be unhappy with his choice. The car "eats" oil - about 500 ml per 1,000 km, which for new car obviously not okay. After winter, crickets appear in the cabin. Sometimes a crunch is heard from the box, and paint flying off even from small pebbles upsets, especially since even the dealer cannot cover the chip with paint, because there is no paint available.

The need to constantly add oil is one of the problems Dmitry faced.

In general, for negative reviews it can be seen that there are practically no serious defects in the Datsun on-Do. However, owners periodically come across cars with poorly conducted pre-sale preparation, which results in minor unpleasant moments, which are only exacerbated by the reluctance of a significant mass dealer centers eliminate them.

In the video presented by real owner Datsun on-Do highlights some aspects of the operation of the machine:

The Japanese state employee Datsun on-DO is the brother of our Lada Granta. Haven't the problems of a Russian relative been inherited by the "Japanese"? We decided to find out and came to the conclusion that there is too much noise around all the "sores" of on-DO. And in the literal sense.

It is worth recognizing that not all Datsun on-DO malfunctions have been confirmed by the official representative office. However, some problems behind the model are indeed recognized, but how they are eliminated - and whether they are relevant at all - we were told by the brand's specialists.

Loud noise during operation of the air conditioning compressor

Someone from on-DO owners complains that their car hums like a tractor. Someone, on the contrary, rejoices and jokingly says that the car sounds like a supercar. This noise can be characterized in different ways, but it has one source: it is a compressor air conditioner. Often, owners note that when the air conditioner is turned on, the machine emits extraneous sounds- as if something is touching somewhere under the hood.

In the official representation of Datsun, we were confirmed that this really happens - more precisely, it happened. "As it was revealed, this noise is due to the design of the air conditioning tubes during compressor operation. For car owners, a warranty replacement of the tube with a tube with a silencer was introduced, for new cars - a design change at the factory. This issue was resolved at the end of 2014, that is, at the start sales, and is not relevant today," the representative office assured.

Gearbox hum

But this sound went to "Datsun" by inheritance from his Russian relative, Lada Granta. There are already legends among the people about the "VAZ" mechanical gearbox and its vocal data. The characteristic hum is very easily recognizable from a thousand and has not gone away for many years, although the design of the box has been updated: the cable drive has been installed and the equipment has been changed to improve the quality of the gears, but the box continues to “sing”. on-DO received the same mechanics - accordingly, the character of the box has not changed.

"The hum is a feature of this gearbox, we see the reason in the design of the gearbox, namely in the profile of the gear teeth. In mid-2016, a measure was introduced to reduce the noise of a mechanical gearbox, which consists in changing the profile of the teeth of the second and main gears, on which noise manifests itself to a greater extent. Thus, it was possible to significantly reduce the noise level of the manual gearbox," the representative office notes.

However, this rumble, perhaps, cannot be called a full-fledged "childhood illness" - rather an annoying design feature. But the manufacturer, it turns out, does not sit idly by and finalizes the design.

Generator noise

Yes, and again - noise! So it turns out that the "sick" on-DO is quite noisy. Another source of excessive noise under the hood can be a generator - according to some owners, the tensioner pulley starts to “sing”. However, the official representative office notes that there are no problems with the generator on cars currently being produced, and on cars a little older there are no problems with warranty replacements.

"When addressing the issue of generator noise, the dealer must check all parts and, in case of malfunction, replace under warranty. For new cars, this particular issue is not relevant today," Datsun said.

Ball joint squeak

However, the representative office did not confirm some malfunctions in the official commentary - for example, the rapid wear of ball bearings. Meanwhile, owners quite often pay attention to squeaks in the front suspension and talk about cases of warranty replacements.

However, Datsun notes that they are constantly working to improve the model and collect complaints from the owners. "We collect statistics on customer requests, study feedback from dealerships, we work closely with production. Despite the fact that over the three years of project preparation, a colossal engineering work was carried out to set up and refine the technical part of the models, the base on which our cars are built has a field for improvements and the elimination of hereditary features. The fact that we have achieved positive changes in any issue does not mean that we stop monitoring it in the future. Despite the positive results, we are analyzing deviations that may cause increased noise, we are negotiating with colleagues in the Alliance and discussing what else can be done in this direction. Also, many issues are resolved at the level of adjustments in production for new cars and at the level of contacting the dealer for those already sold, "says Datsun.

Of course, the owners of classmates-competitors can gloat and be completely sure that they definitely made the right choice and bought the most reliable and trouble-free car. But perfect cars does not exist, and the fact that your favorite model has not yet appeared in this section means only one thing: we just haven’t got to it yet.

It is clear at first glance, and the Datsun He Do test confirms that “He” is not for money bags. Will that handful of coins (from 329 to 400 thousand rubles) that we ordinary citizens have smile at him?

VIDEO Datsun He Do test at the end of the article.

I looked at the Datsun On Do from a distance between the duelists. He had just rolled out of the car wash and seemed to radiate optimism.

On the right is a Datsun assembled by AvtoVAZ. "He", unlike "Grants", with other shock absorbers and springs, reinforced stabilizers roll stability, improved sound insulation of the floor and engine compartment, other door seals.

Banzai, Lada Granta! With this comparison with losing buyers Russian car, Datsun On Do seems to shiver a little, or is it unwiped drops that rolled into the wide gaps between the headlights and the hood?

It cannot be said that a crowd of washers and their clients immediately gathered around the Datsun On Do, clicking their tongues at the sight of the Russian-Japanese novelty. Business indifference reigned all around.

Slits in the front, slits in the back - inside and out, why did they call "Grant" He Do?

“It's a Datsun On Do,” I exclaimed, without any hope of getting a discount for washing it. Finally, open hood managed to arouse the interest of the director of the repair shop, which is located nearby.

The director, seeing the 8-valve 1.6-liter engine familiar from the Lada Samara, our 87-horsepower, hit a long story about the familiar problems of a five-speed manual gearbox. It was already clear to everyone that the Datsun On Do had the same old VAZ (only with cable drive), and you will suffer with it. At the words "fall apart", I closed the hood and said goodbye to the people's expert.

Incidentally, at first glance engine compartment, you understand that you got into the kitchen to a neat hostess. Here all the tubes are in the right size, they don’t hang out, they are pressed with clips, not like that of their sister, the slut Lada Grants.

If you believe the responses to, slovenliness in fine-tuning and assembling the car leads to the fact that “almost ruined the whole family, frayed brake pipe about the clutch cable.

Nissan paid AvtoVAZ for fine-tuning the Datsun On Do, everything should be arigato here, my laundered test object throws its trump cards on the table.

Landing in the Datsun On Do, as in the Grant, is unusually high for me. I did not feel a denser stuffing of the seats. After a couple of hours of driving, my back hurts. The steering wheel is thin, instruments, like instruments, once you get used to it, you can use it. The review is normal, the mirrors are comfortable, there is a separate one for the passenger in the folding visor.

Sorry, no matter how much Nissan pays AvtoVAZ, turning Grant into Datsun On Do, the result will be predictable - as they say in the east, fleeing from a snake, a hunter will see a tiger. I imagine this beast in the form of domestic components. I wrote about them many times in the hope that, finally, the problem of localization in our modern automotive parts, but for "Grants" for so many years nothing new has been proposed.

On the steering wheel, instead of a boat, there are Datsun emblems, and the center console seems to be original, but the microclimate control unit is from Kalina, the trip computer display is from Grants. And still the same smell of VAZ synthetics ... Airbags for the driver and passenger.

My Datsun He Do test showed that this is the same “Grant”, which was finally provided with pre-production fine-tuning. Once I told myself that at the familiar sound of howling transmission, I will not say anything, just slam the door of this car from the outside. But in this case, the interest to come to the Datsun On Do test turned out to be stronger. I ride in it, shifting gears, and the sound of the Lada Samara, familiar from the 80s, buzzes in my stomach. Well, how much can you put up with it? And why would the Japanese build their reputation on a bomb of our obsolete designs and components?

My first Japanese car was a right-hand drive Toyota Corolla with 200,000 miles on it. Oh, how sweetly the gears shifted there. The Russian Japanese "Datsun On Do" never dreamed of this, of course, he tries, but he stumbles every now and then, especially at the bottom.

You can also experience nostalgic-warm feelings for the howling transmission. Then you stop noticing light plugs of the gear lever. The motor seems even frisky, and Datsun On Do moves around the cones without demolitions.

Datsun On Do: moderate rolls, do not lead to the buildup of the car, the suspension travel is sufficient to keep the road with four wheels in a turn.

I have already complimented the driving performance of the Lada Grants on the Myachkovo ring road. The Datsun On Do have them even better. The steering wheel has a good effect on fine-tuning the car for some money, it is with a new gearless electric booster. The return force is higher than in the Grant, the Datsun On Do does not need to be taxied, it keeps its course perfectly and is controlled at high speeds.

I didn’t like the bagel itself - after Renault Sandero it seems thin. This is the only thing that annoyed me while riding around the cones. Otherwise, the Russian-Japanese behaved well on the snake. He did not roll excessively, did not throw his nose or tail, passed the snake rather with neutral steering. A good simulator for counter-emergency training.

Suspension rear elastic transverse beam, front "McPherson".
full size spare wheel in a niche frees up space for liters in the trunk.

Front metal sheet closes engine compartment. Clearance - 174 mm.

Taking a country apple out of the bag and inhaling the aroma of Russian nature from it, you are distracted from the loud voice of the VAZ engine, the nauseating smell of a cheap salon. Having got used to it, that is, forgetting that there is a sea of other cars, I begin to compare, returning to my former Samara. In terms of soundproofing, the Lada Granta loses to her. And Datsun On Do in this sense, well done - nothing creaks here, all panels are tightly pressed, the interior is well isolated from road noise.

Back rear seat continuous folds, the central seat belt (there are three of them in the back) can hold the load.

The ground clearance of the Datsun On Do, like that of Chinese all-terrain vehicles, is 174 millimeters. With such a clearance, you can drive to any of the gambling zones currently operating in Russia. Even if the most deadly roads are laid to them, the Datsun On Do will bring the winnings in a huge trunk of 530 liters without exhausting the joyful riders. It’s even hard to imagine how the pursuers can catch up with him. It accelerates to hundreds in 12.6 seconds (I tested it myself), and when it gets off the asphalt, it will rush even more confidently, the long-stroke suspension will work without rebound, allowing you to confidently ride over bumps.

My prediction: "Lada Granta" can be brought to Datsun On Do standards. And then "On Do" will have to compete with "Logan" and "Sandero". For example, I would take Sandero.

So, with the money of Nissan, improving the Grant, the Renault-Nissan-AvtoVAZ alliance built the Datsun On Do. I'm not ready to say that the time was well spent on this. Maybe you shouldn't have risked your reputation Japanese car, but simply bring to mind the same "Grant", leaving her maiden name. But this would have been an even greater misunderstanding for the Japanese who paid the money.

P.S. The new exchange rate of the ruble in November against the euro-dollar did not change my attitude towards the Datsun On Do, only I added a question mark in the title of this article.

The hosts of the VIDEO are Igor Sirin and Petr Menshikh.

More than three years have passed since the moment when Datsun cars appeared on the market. Therefore, according to Russian law, these cars are officially considered second-hand. The experts of the portal "AvtoVzglyad" found out how problematic it is in operation japanese sedan s and hatchbacks of Russian origin.

For many, it is not a secret that the Datsun on-DO is a sedan that has been turned in appearance. LADA Granta, and mi-Do is an improved version of the domestic LADA Kalina, while the technical filling of the cars is the same. Therefore, we have in fact a product of the Togliatti automobile plant, slightly seasoned with Japanese marketing sauce. But under it, as already mentioned, the same aggregate basis as that of Grants and Kalina. At the same time, a lot of things in the "Japanese" have been improved compared to their Russian counterparts. In addition to the transformed appearance and interior, many components, mechanisms and individual parts of the sedan and hatchback have undergone a thorough revision.

According to one of their Datsun technical representatives, more than 1,000 elements of the machine survived the fine-tuning. Indeed, compared with the same "Grant" and "Kalina", the Japanese sedan and hatchback have become noticeably quieter on the go - their sound insulation is more efficient, the engine is idling smoother and quieter, mechanical boxes partially got rid of the characteristic transmission “howl”, and the gears turn on more clearly and with less effort. In general, in Datsun on-DO and mi-Do, attention to detail is felt in comparison with their Russian prototypes.

However, as the classics said, you can’t go far on the carriage of the past. After all, from machines that were developed more than 15 years ago, it is difficult to make a competitive modern car. All the flaws and shortcomings of their design invariably pop up in the Datsun on-DO / mi-Do. So, for example, many owners are strained, like in domestic prototypes, by swinging open 90 degrees front doors. Not only can they be easily damaged by an obstacle in the immediate vicinity. And if it’s an expensive car parked nearby, then it’s even easier than ever to get money.

Body comes with a 6 year factory warranty. through corrosion. On the one hand, very good. On the other hand, some specimens of Datsun on-DO and mi-Do may bloom with rusty spots after the first Russian winter. And not only the characteristic elements of the body, such as wheel arches and sills, but almost all the details - doors, hood, fenders and even the roof. Yes, yes, this sometimes happens, although it does not have the character of an epidemic. The windshield wiper trapezoid (1500 rubles) often fails, the door locks do not work well and are fixed, it is quickly scratched windshield. Most likely, this is the fault of allies. But the consumer still has to deal with it.

Electrical failures also occur. Moreover, they intersect with similar problems on the "Grant" and "Kalina". The climate control unit may be moping, the wipers electric motor may fail, or the lamps in the lighting fixtures burn out with enviable frequency. By the way, one electrical incident also happened on the test Datsun on-DO. Didn't want to turn off fog lights. Even when the engine was turned off, the ignition was turned off, and the car was armed, the fog lights continued to shine. Switching the node on and off again did nothing.

I had to remove the negative terminal from the battery and wait until the morning, because it was already late in the evening. The next day, having dismantled the block for switching light modes, they put it back - the foglights still continue to “burn”. In general, we decided to pull out the appropriate fuses, but before that we checked again - the headlights turned off by themselves. As the servicemen would say, a “walking” malfunction ... After that, I no longer used the foglights until I returned the car to the dealer.

As for the engines, on-DO gasoline 8-valve engines with a volume of 1.6 liters with a capacity of 82 and 87 liters were installed. with., as well as a 106-horsepower 16-valve. At the same time, mi-DO was content with only an 87-strong “four”. Eight-valve units are generally reliable. True, on some instances of Datsun increased consumption oils. Valve covers can leak with age. However, the repair costs mere pennies - just install a new gasket or put the cover on the sealant. The timing belt is prescribed to be changed every 75,000 km, but mechanics recommend thinking about updating it after 50,000 km. It is advisable to change the water pump (2,300 rubles) at the same time as timing belt- it usually fails after 100,000 km. The fact is that a leaky pump can jam and then cut off the teeth on the driven belt.

If such a malfunction happens with a 106-horsepower engine, then the valves will meet the pistons and overhaul engine is provided. This "four", by the way, is noticeably more capricious in operation compared to the "eight-valve".

On all engines, spark plugs and ignition coils, oxygen sensors (1900 rubles each) and mass air flow (from 2800 rubles) periodically fail. Often the ECU engine control unit is buggy, because of which the engine suddenly stalls and refuses to start again. Over time, crankshaft seals begin to leak and camshaft- well, if the front. To replace the rear crankshaft sensor, you will have to remove the clutch.

By the way, the clutch assembly usually nurses up to 100,000 km. True, on Datsuns, sometimes by 30,000 km it may be necessary to replace the clutch disc. Although it is better to update the whole mechanism with a basket and release bearing. The five-speed “mechanics” traditionally wear second gear synchronizers. This sore was not only on the Grant and Kalina, but also on the VAZ cars of the tenth family. That's heredity. But repairing the box is inexpensive - from 12,000 rubles.

The Jatco automatic transmission, which at first was installed only on hatchbacks, and since the fall of 2016 on Datsun sedans, is ancient, but hassle-free. You only need to change the oil in it every 60,000 km, and it will easily outlive the engine.

The suspension of Datsun on-DO and mi-Do is simple in design, energy intensive and durable. At risk are rear wheel bearings, which nurse 50,000 km. But the front endure twice as long. If it chimes steering rack, it is enough just to tighten the locknuts with a special wrench. True, the electric amplifier sometimes fails - the mechanism suddenly stops working, but after a while it can again be in service as if nothing had happened.

... In general, both Datsuns cannot boast of exemplary reliability. However, even pensioners and students can afford the maintenance of a sedan and hatchback, and spare parts cost mere pennies compared to foreign cars. After all, we repeat once again, this is, in fact, the same LADA Granta and Kalina.
