Therefore, I decided to write the next, more detailed report on the car as soon as possible, taking into account the questions and suggestions of the "workers" =)

Review Chevrolet Aveo 1.6 (115 hp / 1.6 l. / 6automatic transmission) (Chevrolet Aveo) 2012

I bought a new Aveo on 02/17/12. in Perm for 564,000 rubles. in the configuration LT (+2 packages), automatic transmission-6 speed. At a speed of 90 to 100 km / h on the tachometer 2300-2400 rpm. I fill AI-95 with gasoline, I haven’t figured out the flow yet, because early, still need to run in, now on the speedometer 900km. Very torquey, at traffic lights undermined immediately without hesitation.

Indeed, when you turn left, the left pillar strongly interferes with the review. On the dashboard, there is no coolant temperature reading, but the light can be seen when the system is being tested while the ignition key is turned so that overheating does not blink.

Music - head unit MP3 + Bluetooth + USB with steering wheel adjustment, 4 speakers, speakers are in the A-pillars and in the front doors, there is still space in rear doors, but are not installed in this configuration.

I’ll unsubscribe right away that the review is written on the basis of first impressions, contains purely my personal opinion, and, over time, it may be supplemented with other information, supported by operating experience. I have a lot of experience writing reviews (see "my cars" =)

So, I sold my baby (also Aveo, 2009 release, hatchback, yellow) without any problems to a girl who wants to have a small yellow car! There was a difficult question of choosing a new car (see the previous review). I exhausted all the nerves for myself, my wife and all my relatives. After scrupulous screening of a large number of cars, there are 5 options left to choose from: Hyundai Solaris, Kia Rio, Renault Duster, Volkswagen Polo and Chevrolet Aveo. I will not write how the choice was made, and what I liked and did not like (so as not to offend the existing or future owners of these cars), but in the end, by the will of fate, the choice fell on the Aveo NEW (sedan) in the LT configuration (+2 packages ).

Well, what can we say about the machine? This is my first foreign car. Before that, I went to different VAZs. I’ll write about my feelings and thoughts right away… At first, the sensations were akin to delight. It rides smoothly, quietly in the cabin, the foreign car is shorter :) Then I got used to it, began to listen to all sorts of sounds, creaks, knocks, etc. cars. Despite the fact that no problems with the suspension were identified at any MOT (with the exception of 40,000 km, about which a little lower), there were knocks and squeaks in the suspension, and were taken for granted, and now they are practically not noticeable. Here's a brief about the sensations … Driving sensations as such — absent. The car is not for driving, but for moving yourself from point A to point B.

Such a utility vehicle. We drove it around the cities of the regions closest to Moscow. Every day to/from work. Only let me down once. On a run of 1000 km, the battery ground terminal was unscrewed from the body. However, the symptoms were very strange. You turn off the ignition — all the electrics work, turn on the ignition, everything is cut down, it starts blinking. I checked the terminals on the battery - everything is OK. It was difficult to guess that the ground terminal was unscrewed from the body on the road. I called my wife, she dragged me in tow to the house, there she already guessed what was happening. Here is such a story was with the machine I have. Thank God there is only one.

Basically good budget car. For a young family, the most it in my opinion. For the entire period of operation, and this, almost 4 years have passed, not many problems got out: they replaced it for 40,000 km under warranty steering rack- a standard jamb of Aveo and Lacetti, and the front struts had to be replaced at 60,000, because. one of them leaked + plus the crankshaft oil seal dripped, but this is a disease of this engine (I hope the only one). Its replacement is very simple, and is carried out on the TO-60000 along with the replacement of the pump and belts.

Strengths:

  • Good ergonomics. The only car in 2005 for this money ($12,000) where I (height 186, weight 105) can sit down by myself with no comfort
  • Availability of spare parts and their low cost on the market and compatibility with Opel
  • Good ground clearance and relatively short overhangs (we climb high curbs of 18-20 centimeters and at least something ... though sideways ... but we climb :)
  • The machine is really well galvanized at the bottom. There is one chip to zinc (large) for the 4th year already, and still has not bloomed

Relates to the second and so far last generation model range. The start of production took place in 2011. In Russia, assembly began in 2012. A 1.6 liter power unit is installed on cars of this model. The design of the machine is considered quite modern and corresponds to all the latest trends in this area. But the problem with stock cars is that they are stock, no matter how trite it may sound.
