The increase in torque in this case was 9 Nm, reaching 159 Nm at the same 4,000 rpm. The dynamics of the Focus with such an engine has improved markedly - up to 11.7 seconds, which is what it needs to gain hundreds. Increase top speed it turned out, of course, not too significant - up to 193 km / h. Consumption also increased to 6.3 liters.

Yes, and the appetite is comparable - 6.2 liters.

It is followed by a 1.6-liter engine. The increase in working volume also guaranteed an increase in power, which amounted to 30 horses. As a result, the 130-horsepower 16-valve accelerates to hundreds in 10.5 seconds, which is ensured by peak power at 6,300 rpm, as well as excellent traction of 160 Nm, which is at 4,850 rpm. This made it possible not only to maintain fuel consumption at the same level (6.4 l), but also to accelerate the hatchback to hundreds in just 10.5 seconds, and also to increase the maximum mark to 190 km/h.

Sid's third is a 1.6-liter DCT engine. Its design difference lies in the use of a direct injection system, although it does not have a turbocharger. It is not surprising that both in power and in moment it is inferior to its competitor - 135 horses at 6,300 rpm, with 168 “Newtons” at 4,850 rpm. The lag in dynamics is also evident - 10.8 sec. up to a hundred at 195 km / h maximum speed.

But the Sid in the GT version has a 204-horsepower turbo engine that will give odds to Ford's 1.5-liter Ecoboost. 204 l.
