This is partly due to the fact that the company's plans were such that the bulk of the Zotye T600 modification should go to the CIS countries, in particular Belarus and Russia. An amazing combination of styles from Chinese designers is respected, even if it's all borrowed, but creating such a hybrid is also not easy. Even the photo shows how the design is tailored in European style, modest, strict, smart, and the line of motors even allows you to try on the Zotye T600 Sport prefix, but more on that later.

The front part with optics, bumper structure, overhangs completely copies its Tuareg donor. But with regard to the radiator grille, Audi motifs are perceptible, where they also give preference to huge grilles trimmed with chrome. Of the own details, only the manufacturer's branded emblem remains here.

The silhouette is divided, as it were, because the “front end” copies Volkswagen, but closer to the stern we see Audi overhangs, as well as characteristic roof rails. Oddly enough, the crossover also received a protective body kit, and it stretches throughout the body. But, it is especially noticeable in the side part, where really high-quality protection from powerful plastic opens up.

The feed of the Zotye T600 Sport 2019 is multifaceted, here, in addition to motives from German donors, there is also its own, if not a unique piece, but at least something that represents the true style of this concern. We are talking about optics and trunk lid.

The strip that visually emphasizes and connects the lights most likely came from Porsche. I was pleased with the rear bumper kit, despite the fact that manufacturers, on the contrary, are trying to hide exhaust system The Chinese have completely different thoughts on this.

Interior

In the interior of the Zotye T600 Sport, at first it is difficult to understand where you are, from the first minutes the impressions are not bad, the plastic seems to be good, with a good cut. The quality is really good, perhaps the concern has indeed revised its policy. The most important thing that the Zotye T600 Sport has been awarded is the interior from Audi.

Architecture with some difference, but still the overall outline is memorable and recognizable. Even from the photo you can clearly see how well the interior is tailored, it's a pity that the photo does not convey the whole atmosphere. In terms of quality and finish, the manufacturer has actually taken a big step forward.

Dashboard with two "wells", as well as a large on-board computer came from the second generation Audi, in just such a key performance. The differences here are only in the steering column, here the Chinese preferred to install their own "steering wheel". Of course, it is more modest than that of the donor, but all the same, the possibilities are wide, so there are many keys that are available even in the database.

The seats are simple, there is no significant lateral support here, the usual profile, in no way reminiscent of their German donors. In front, comfort can be achieved only through adjustments, there are really a lot of them.

But behind, for some reason, they provided a low sofa, it’s almost impossible to sit out for long distances, everything is somehow knocked down and uncomfortable. Plus the profile is flat, almost no shape for the back.

Technical indicators

The technical characteristics of the Zotye T600 in Russia are not modest, but it is difficult to call them sports. To begin with, let's discuss the power unit that they are ready to offer us in China.

So, the initial turbocharged 1.5-liter engine, but wired, that is, brought under Russian tax conditions, its maximum power is 149 hp. But, I'm glad that he pulls from the bottom.

The second motor is positioned as the top one, its working volume is declared as 2.0 liters, and the maximum generated power is 177 hp, which is not bad. If only “mechanics” relied on the first unit, then the choice of the same “mechanics” and a modern “robot” with dual clutch goes to the second.

Motors provide overall good dynamics, up to a hundred, the car of the Zotye T600 concern accelerates in 9.5 - 10.3 seconds. The consumption figures are also surprising, as for such engines, an urban-style consumption of 9 liters is an absolute victory.

At the heart of our Chinese crossover is the "trolley" from Hyundai VeraKruz. This is not a banal copy, but really a joint work, all through a license agreement, as is customary in the modern world. In part, the fact that the platform was taken from a famous model reduces the cost of repairs, which is important, given Russian realities and roads.

The suspension is completely independent, this is already a tradition when there are MacPherson struts in front, and the same type of “many lever” in the back. Even in electronic equipment, the Chinese can compete with their counterparts, in this price category, of course, he is far from the possibilities of donors.

However, already the “base” is guaranteed to receive a couple of assistants who will ensure reliable grip of the Zoti T600 Sport on the road. In addition, a modular hydraulic booster is responsible for reliability and controllability.

Options and prices

As for the choice of configurations on the domestic market in 2019, there are no changes, most likely an extended list of modifications will be available from the new year, that is, from 2019. But, also, this information has not yet been confirmed by the manufacturer itself. But, despite the absence of most versions, even now for Zoti t600 the minimum price is 900,000 rubles.

Many experts are of the opinion that while the Chinese concern is not ready to enter the market on a large scale, as its products may not withstand the appearance of the crossover Vesta, which is already trying on the first lines of the top cars for 2019. We remind you that Zoti T 600 2019 is offered in two trim levels - these are “Luxury” and “Royal”.

The initial unit will be available in both versions, but the top two-liter unit was awarded only “Royal”, although there are no differences between the maximum versions, except for other engines. In November 2013, at the Guangzhou Auto Show, Zotye officially presented its new crossover T600, which already in December of the same year entered mass production... These cars have been presented on the Russian market since March 2016, and they are produced at the Unison car plant in the Republic of Belarus (it was also planned to arrange assembly at the Alabuga Motors plant in Tatarstan).

Zotye T600 looks attractive and modern, but its design is obviously "copied" from popular models of famous brands. The front of the car is "inspired" by the German Volkswagen crossover Touareg (resemblance, as they say, on the face), and the back is a kind of combination of Audi Q5 and, all the same, VW Touareg.

In the design of the exterior, it can be especially noted - stylish head optics with LED strips running lights(in the "top" versions - there is also xenon), rear lights with LED "stuffing", as well as alloy wheel disks dimension 17 inches.

Zotye T600 is a mid-size SUV, as evidenced by the dimensions of the body: 4631 mm long, 1694 mm high and 1893 mm wide. Wheelbase"Chinese" has 2807 mm, and ground clearance- 185 mm.

For the Chinese crossover, two gasoline engines, each of which "transmits" the moment to the front axle:

  • The first is a 1.5-liter turbo engine "15S4G", the return of which is 149 horsepower (as part of the "tax optimization", and at home it actually produces 162 hp) and 215 Nm of maximum thrust at 2000-4000 rpm /minute. In tandem, he relies exclusively on a 5-speed “mechanics”.
  • Second (for Russian market presented since May 2017) is a 2.0-liter "four" under the index "4G63S4T" with a turbocharger, generating 177 "horses" and 250 Nm of torque at 2400-4400 rpm. The unit is matched with the same manual transmission, or a 6-band "robot" DCT (dual clutch).

These power units provide the crossover with decent dynamics - the mark of 100 km / h on the speedometer can be reached in 9.32 ~ 9.76 seconds, and maximum speed is about 180 ~ 188 km/h.

Fuel consumption "in urban mode" will be 9.32 ~ 9.76 liters per 100 km (volume fuel tank 60 liters).

The Zotye T600 is based on a licensed "trolley" from Hyundai Veracruz, to which the wheels are "attached" by a fully independent suspension (front - McPherson type, rear - multi-link). Steering supplemented by a hydraulic booster, and disc brakes are used on both axles.

In the Russian market, as of the beginning of 2018, presented in two trim levels - "Luxury" and "Royal".

Soon, Russians will be able to get acquainted with a completely new automaker, which will present its model on the Russian market. We are talking about the company Zotye, which began its activities quite recently, in 2005.

This young Chinese company in a short period of its work was able to achieve good results in domestic market, and now gradually enters the international arena.

Well, it will be interesting to study what this Zotye T600 crossover actually is, what advantages it has, what interior the manufacturer decided to equip it with, and what the SUV is ready to offer in its engine compartment.

Let's start with the fact that Zotye T600 is not a novelty at all. Its premiere took place at the Shanghai Motor Show in the spring of 2013. Then a lot of controversy and talk arose around the crossover. First of all, the conversation turned to the appearance of the car.

Few people will be surprised by the fact that the image of the Chinese SUV is largely copied from the popular models of leading automakers. for example, the front is almost a complete Volkswagen Touareg company, and the rear has a lot in common with the Audi Rm.5 and Acura RDX.

What can I say, this is plagiarism, and you can’t show anything against it. Many companies from Europe, the USA, Korea and Japan have come to terms with the fact that frank copies of their models are being created in the Middle Kingdom. Despite the image copied without the knowledge of Volkswagen and Acura, the company took a licensed platform for creating a crossover - from Hyundai. It is used for the production of the ix55 model. The engines are not very powerful, and the drive is only on the front wheels.

Yes, this is a copy of Tuareg and Q5 in one bottle. But this cannot be taken away from the fact that outwardly Zotye T600 looks very attractive, stylish and modern.

The front is equipped with a powerful hood, modern optics, which included xenon, LEDs. It is also worth noting the original false radiator grille, a powerful bumper, into the architecture of which they integrated fog lights. The exterior rear-view mirrors were supplemented with turn signal repeaters, for which LEDs are responsible.

From the side, the car looks confident, solid, smart. Neat, straight lines, smooth transitions, well-designed doors, large wheel arches, attractive rims that come in 17 inches as a base, and 18 inches are offered for a surcharge.

Behind, we note a powerful, solid bumper, a small tailgate, original parking lights, which also involved LEDs.

Summing up the appearance, the impression is very, very pleasant. To be honest, we did not expect such a result. Of course, this is largely due to the fact that the source for copying the appearance is excellent. But, you see, you also need to be able to copy correctly.

If anyone is interested in dimensions, then they are quite consistent with modern European ideas about compact crossovers. For Zotye T600, the following figures are relevant:

Alas, there are certain disadvantages. For example, the rear sofa is of a very strange design, and the front seats are frankly flat, without a single hint of lateral support. Plus, the trunk shows very poor performance, as it is ready to take only 344 liters of cargo. Yes, the rear sofa can be lowered, but you should not expect a flat surface. Add to this a high raised floor, wheel arches protruding inside the cabin, as a result of which we get far from the most convenient structure of the loading area.

But the massive front panel and elegant center console somewhat smooth out the negative impressions. The dashboard has a modern filling, including the original trip computer. There is also a well-designed steering wheel, correctly located controls for various equipment.

In terms of space, there are no complaints about the crossover. The lack of a large trunk is compensated by a roomy interior, which allows you to provide enough free space in all directions. Even drivers with a height of about 190 centimeters can easily adjust their seat.

As for the second row, here also the three of us can sit down with ease. At the same time, each passenger will be quite comfortable. Of course, it should be understood that we are talking about compact crossover, and therefore the concept of free space should be appropriate.

Options crossover Zotye T600

It is not yet known in which particular equipment options the novelty from the Celestial Empire will be offered on the Russian market. Therefore, it is important to talk about three fixed configurations, between which you have to choose a crossover in China itself.

The basic equipment is named "Elite" and includes the following equipment:

  • power windows on all side windows;
  • central locking;

For many, the true face of the 2016-2017 Zotye T600 was a surprise. You can forgive the copied appearance, besides, the manufacturers themselves, on the basis of whose models the image of a crossover from China was created, can and even needs to. In addition, neither Volkswagen nor Acura made any claims.

In addition to the attractive exterior, the designers managed to create a good interior. Yes, the seats in front and the rear sofa may be far from perfect, but the quality of the materials is at the level, the assembly is solid.

Plus, the crossover also boasts impressive technical characteristics. Now you don’t often see turbocharged engines, the power of which exceeds 150 horsepower, made in China. So the owners will not be disappointed with the performance and efficiency of the engines.

It remains only to find out what the price of the SUV will be. If the price tag also turns out to be attractive, then we can assume a serious success of the Zotye T600 on the Russian market. Unfortunately, it has not yet been reported how popular this car is in its homeland.

The Zotye Coupa (in China, known as the T600 Coupe in its home country) is a front-wheel drive, five-door mid-size SUV that boasts a sleek (albeit not without borrowing) design, stylish interior, modern technology and not the poorest equipment ... It aims, first of all, for urban youth (and regardless of gender), leading an active lifestyle and wanting to get a "stylish and well-packed" car for a reasonable price"...

This coupe crossover, on the outside suspiciously strongly resembling Volkswagen Touareg, was born in April 2015 (however, then only as a concept T600 S concept) - its premiere took place at the international exhibition of the auto industry in Shanghai. A serial copy of the five-door debuted at the same place, but two years later (in the spring of 2017), and shortly after this event, its sales in the Chinese market started.

Zotye Coupa looks beautiful, imposing, modern and harmonious, but from some angles it looks too much like a Volkswagen Touareg.

The solid front of the car is decorated with laconic headlights with LED elements, a chrome-plated radiator grille and an embossed bumper, and its elegant rear catches the eye with stylish lights and two “curly” exhaust system nozzles.

From the side, the off-road vehicle demonstrates a proportional appearance with visual sidewalls and regular wheel arch cutouts, which is added by a lowered roof, black inserts on the rear pillars and an elongated spoiler visor above the rear window.

In terms of its dimensions, Zotye Coupa performs in the class of mid-size SUVs: length - 4654 mm, height - 1696 mm, width - 1893 mm. The wheelbase fits into the car at 2807 mm, and its ground clearance does not exceed 185 mm.

In running order, the weight of the five-door varies from 1541 to 1661 kg (depending on the modification).

Inside, Zotye Coupa meets riders with an elegant, original and quite solid design, made with sporty notes. A three-spoke multi-steering wheel “sawn” at the bottom, a concise “toolkit” with two analog instruments, an ergonomic center console with a 9-inch multimedia complex display and a stylish “microclimate” unit – visually, the interior of the crossover evokes exceptionally positive emotions.

In addition to this, the “apartments” of the car are distinguished by pleasant finishing materials and good build quality.

On the Russian market, Zotye Coupa is presented with only one engine - a four-cylinder unit with a working volume of 1.5 liters that meets Euro-5 environmental standards, with turbocharging, a distributed injection system, a 16-valve DOHC timing belt and variable valve timing, which generates 143 horsepower. force at 5500 rpm and 207 Nm of torque at 2000-4000 rpm.

By default, it is mated with a 5-speed "mechanics" and a front-wheel drive transmission, and as an option - with a 6-band "automatic".

Regardless of the modification, the crossover accelerates from standstill to 100 km / h after 10 seconds, gaining a maximum of 180 km / h, and in the mixed mode of movement “digests” 7.9 liters of fuel for every “hundred” run.

It is worth noting that in other countries this car is offered with a 1.5-liter "turbo" producing 156 hp. and 207 Nm of peak thrust, and a 1.8-liter turbo engine that develops 177 hp. and 245 Nm of torque. The first unit in tandem is assigned the same gearboxes as in Russia, and the second is exclusively a 6-speed “robot”.

The Zotye T600 Coupe is based on a licensed front-wheel drive platform from Hyundai Veracruz with power unit installed transversely, and in the design of its body there is a widespread use of high-strength steel types.

Front and rear crossover has independent suspensions from transverse stabilizers and hydraulic shock absorbers: in the first case - MacPherson struts, in the second - a multi-link system.

The car is equipped with rack and pinion steering with power steering and disc brakes "in a circle" (ventilated on the front axle) with ABS, EBD and other electronics.

For Russian motorists, Zotye Coupa is offered in two equipment options - “Exalted” and “Royal”.

A crossover in the basic configuration with “mechanics” will cost from 990,000 rubles, while for a version with an “automatic” you will have to pay at least 1,150,000 rubles.

Not at all Chinese interior

The interior looks solid and rich, and in terms of build quality it will yield only to German models.

Opening the door of the "Chinese", you reflexively wrinkle your nose - after standing in the heat, they sometimes give out such "bouquets" that your eyes water. But not Zotye: from the first seconds he seeks to win the favor of a fastidious buyer. The door slams shut with a pleasant dull sound, the seat pleases with the absence of any ergonomic problems, it's nice to take on the neatly stitched plump "steering wheel".

And, probably, the fastest among fellow countrymen: it takes 9.3 seconds to accelerate from standstill to 100 km / h, the turbo-Zotye takes 9.3 seconds, and the maximum speed is 188 km / h. What is even more interesting, the declared consumption in the urban cycle is only 8.4 liters - did the Chinese automakers lie slightly?

You can’t even guess that a car with a “robot” is in VW you immediately feel a rigid connection between the drive wheels and the engine, but in Zotye there is still some element of “blurring” - an unrolled box works very smoothly, softly and slowly shifting gears . It is a pity that there is no way to test it after the break-in: it is very interesting how well the Chinese engineers managed to set up their “preselective”. In the meantime, we can say that in normal modes the box works well, but the “software” needs to be slightly completed - when you switch to manual mode, the letter M lights up on the screen, but the gear number is not displayed.

The T600 suspension is very soft - it feels like pneumatic

Although you can forget about all these sports and manual modes: despite the Turbo nameplate and the legendary engine under the hood, the Zotye T600 is sybarite and phlegmatic by nature. He loves comfort more than anything else, so owners of used Mercedes-Benz will surely like it. Unusually, Zotye professes the same philosophy - comfort, comfort and only comfort. The suspensions are so soft that I had to stop and look - it's definitely not "pneuma"?

Almost all modern cars tuned with an eye on some mythical sports-gambling style (regardless of the engine power), but Zotye is imposing and soft, like a feather bed. Even during the inspection, we noticed a thick layer of sound insulation under the hood (even the front “cups” are wrapped), and now we are enjoying the result: the cabin is very quiet, neither the sound of the engine nor the howling of the wind irritates. But the tires just turned out to be noisy - or did it just seem to us against the background of absolute silence in the cabin?

The turbocharged Zotye has only one package, and the price is quite at the level of European and Asian models

In general, not a "Chinese", but just some kind of storehouse of virtues! However, miracles do not happen, even with SKD assembly. The price in Belarus is 40,880 rubles, which at the current exchange rate is equivalent to almost 21 thousand US dollars! True, the equipment of the turbo Zotye is quite consistent with the cost: leather interior, stabilization and traction control system, front and side airbags in front, xenon headlights, climate control, Android multimedia system, panoramic roof! So, taking into account all the factors - equipment, quality of finish, dynamics, comfort level - in principle, it turns out to be a rather interesting offer. Or is it still better to overpay for a more promoted brand?
