Robotic DSG gearbox: device, fault diagnosis, advantages and disadvantages. How to change the oil in a DSG box How much oil do you need to buy for a DSG 6

1. Disconnect the connector from the Mass Air Flow Sensor and by compressing the spring clamp, disconnect the air pipe from the air filter housing.

2. We disassemble the air intake to disconnect the air pipe.

3. Unscrew the bolt securing the air filter housing.

4. Then we pull off the air filter housing from the rubber mounts.

5. Remove the battery cover and remove the front cover.

6. Remove the terminals from the battery, unscrew the mount and remove the battery.

7. Unscrew the three bolts securing the battery platform and remove it.

8. Unscrew the case oil filter and filming.

9. Remove the gearbox oil filter.

10. We pump out the remnants of the old oil from the honeycombs in the gearbox housing.

11. Remove the crankcase protection.

12. Unscrew the drain plug with a 14 mm hexagon. and drain the oil. It will drain approximately 0.8 liters. oils.

13. When the trickle becomes thin, then insert the 8 mm hexagon. into the drain hole and unscrew the overflow cup. About 4.4 liters will merge. oils.

14. As the oil has drained, we twist the overflow glass back into the drain hole.

15. We twist the drain plug with the old o-ring.

16. Insert the filling hose into the oil filter hole.

17. We begin to fill in the oil. Pour 5.4 liters of oil (this is with a small margin) into the DSG6.
Full filling volume oil on PBZ gearboxes is 7.2 liters, and the service volume (which is replaced) is 5.2 liters. oils. Therefore, we fill in a little more oil in order to then correctly set the oil level. It is equally bad for the DSG box if the oil is overfilled or not topped up.
18. Comparison of KP filters.

19. When finished pouring oil into the box, remove the filling hose and put it aside.

20. Install a new oil filter. After lubricating the lip seal with gear oil. Attention! The filter must be mounted on the rod into which we poured oil. Be sure to twist it left - right to prevent wrapping the filter lip seal.

21. Wash the oil filter housing from oil.

22. Change the sealing ring on the oil filter housing.

23. Install the oil filter housing and tighten it with a torque of 20 Nm.

24. Install the battery pad back into place.

25. Install the battery and connect the terminals.

26. Install the front casing and battery cover.

27. Install the air filter housing on the rubber mounts.

28. Tighten the air filter mounting bolt.

29. Install the air intake.

30. We connect the air pipe to the air filter housing and connect the Mass Air Flow Sensor connector.

31. We connect the diagnostic device. Go to "Measured values" and open group 19. Group 19.2 displays the current oil temperature in gearbox 02E.

33. We start the engine and switch the selector, lingering for 3-5 seconds in each gear. Then return the lever to the "P" position. To set the level, the oil in the gearbox must be warmed up in the range from 35-45 degrees.

Below is a photo with the principle of operation of the overflow cup in DSG box 6.

34. Heating the oil to a certain temperature, we unscrew the drain plug and drain the excess oil (200 grams that we poured).

35. While excess oil is draining, we change the sealing ring on the drain plug to a new one.

36. Drain the oil until a trickle of oil becomes thin. We have drained about 200 grams of oil, now the level is set in accordance with the regulations. We immediately twist the drain plug and tighten it with a torque of 45 Nm.

37. We wash the gearbox housing from traces of oil.

38. Install crankcase protection.

Filling tips:

To fill the oil in the box, according to the regulations, should be through the drain plug, i.e. underneath the car. This is due to the fact that the filter in some cases does not change (again, according to the regulations, photo at the beginning). But when a simultaneous replacement is made, it is more convenient to do it from under the hood, into the filter hole.
When changing the oil in the DSG 6 box, the car must be installed on a level surface.

Transmission DSG7 (Direct Shift Gearbox - Direct Shift Gearbox) This is this type of Automatic Transmission (AT) with "dry" clutches, which was developed by VW, in which there are seven gears and a gear reversing. Switching occurs without interruption of the power flow (switching occurs without switching on the neutral), this is the main advantage of Automatic Transmissions, and also provides a "creeping" mode at the beginning of the movement. Therefore, DSG boxes are automatic transmissions.

The flagship in the production of "dry" clutches is VW, they immediately took into account the design flaw of the DSG6 to include forward and reverse gears with one clutch, and released a seven-speed transmission, where different rows are included forward and reverse.

They are equipped with DSG7 mainly in cars with a small engine capacity, on powerful engines with high torque, "dry" clutches do not withstand. Completed with DSG7 are mainly Volkswagen, Skoda, as well as Audi, Seat.

Car models where you can find the DSG7 box

A feature of the DSG7 is the presence of two volumes of oil, for the mechatronics that controls the DSG7 and the mechanical gearbox (where the forks, gears, etc.). If on a conventional mechanical gearbox the clutch is clamped by design springs installed during manufacture, and when you press the clutch pedal, the clutch “dissolves” and thus the moment is not transmitted, then in the DSG7 the opposite happens, until the mechatronics gives the clutch signal “dissolved” they rotate freely , the mechatronics gives a signal, and the piston acts on the fork and the fork clamps the disc, and if there are no pressure leaks in the mechatronics, then the disc is clamped with the necessary force.

The diagnostic tools contain the temperature value of the first and second friction disc, the temperature is calculated, i.e. how the clutch slipped, how long, what moment was on the engine or what pressure was in the mechatronics, based on these readings, the clutch temperature is calculated - this is an unmeasured temperature - this is the calculated temperature. If the design temperature starts to rise, then the clutch begins to slip excessively and the DSG7 box will need to be repaired in the future.

Ford, Mercedes, Fiat have developed their DSG boxes with dry clutches. Ford ditched hydraulics with electric motors controlled by the electronic unit combined with electric motors, mounted on a box. Adaptation of the DSG7 Ford after replacing the electronic unit or dual clutch is carried out automatically, unlike VW where it is required to carry out the adaptation procedure, with special equipment.

The clutch in this box is a separate non-separable (non-repairable) block. When replacing the clutch, the DSG7 is supplied by the manufacturer as an assembly, with adjusted disc gaps.

Classic DSG7 issues

The manifestation of defects in the operation of the DSG7 is often associated with incorrect operation of the mechatronics

  • No forward and reverse gears
  • Jerks when shifting gears.

After the diagnostics, the DSG7 mechatronics repair or its reprogramming is required. The reasons may be pressure leaks through the internal cavities, or the gear shift software does not work correctly. Which causes the clutch to slip. DSG7 reprogramming is also required to update the software and optimize the box.

It is possible that the mechatronics unit overheats in the driving modes of the car (providing a crawling mode) and, as a result, slipping of the clutch discs, further repair of the DSG7, which is an operational defect in the operation of the DSG7. The manufacturer recommended actions for DSG7 owners to force the box to switch from “D” mode to “N” mode when the car is in a traffic jam and has been standing for more than 1 minute. VW developers did not count on Russian features operating conditions DSG7 (many hours, regular traffic in traffic jams).

Also, the failure of the DSG7 mechatronics is an oil leak from the “breather”, replacement or repair is required. If the electrical circuits inside the unit fail, the DSG7 mechatronics assembly is replaced.

Care must be taken to protect exposed parts of the DSG7 from contamination. The failure of "dry" discs is possible for various reasons: crankshaft engine), water, clogged clutch with dirt, etc. is a problem with the DSG7 box with dry clutches.

The mechanical part of the DSG7 at high mileage is characterized by breakdowns of conventional mechanical gearboxes - gear failure, pitting of bearings, shafts, destruction of drive forks, etc. Then a thorough repair of the mechanical part of the box is required.

Replacing DSG6 with DSG7 is not possible, because transmissions are aggregated with different engines.

In 2011 in the production of the DSG7, individual components were modified, improvements were made, the mounting dimensions for the clutches were changed, the release bearing drive lever was changed.

Owners of cars with DSG7 are faced with automatic transmission problems

  • jolts when shifting forward or reverse,
  • switching shocks,
  • vibration AKP,
  • shift slips,
  • the car goes into emergency mode.

The average operating mileage of a car with DSG7 is 90-150 thousand km. Repair and replacement of the clutch is carried out using a special tool. Repair of the DSG7 is required to strictly follow the assembly and adjustment technology, in accordance with the requirements of the manufacturer.

Changing the oil in the DSG7 box can only be done in the transmission gearbox. Replacement can be made on average after 40 thousand mileage or as needed, because. the manufacturer fills in oil for the entire service life.

Released software updates are a benefit of the DSG7. At the first sign of improper operation of the DSG7, you should start with diagnostics and, if necessary, “flash” the mechatronics, if they are released by the manufacturer for your car, but we do not recommend “flashing” a properly working DSG7.

Diagnostics and advice on the DSG7 box

ATG service engineers provide technical support in the form of consultations on technical matters related to the repair and operation of DSG7. You can get prompt advice by calling or sending a request from the company's website

When diagnosing DSG7, many operating parameters can be checked, considered as specialized test devices. Deciphering and analyzing the received codes for the operation of the box allows you to find the cause of the malfunction of the automatic transmission and prevents damage to the DSG7 by detecting defects in a timely manner. One of the points of diagnosing the DSG7 is to control the temperature of the clutch in operating modes. Clutch wear can be viewed programmatically.

Leak testing, oil change can be done at the ATG service center and is a necessary procedure aimed at maintaining the automatic transmission in working condition in order to increase its uptime.

ATG has special tools and equipment and can carry out all restoration work. We have experience in competent, qualified maintenance and repair of automatic transmission DSG7 in Moscow.

DSG is a special type of transmission that combines the principles of mechanical and automatic transmission. This preselective robotic box is installed on VAG cars - Audi, Skoda, Seat and Volkswagen. One of its main advantages is that gear shifts are smooth, without losing power flow and positively affecting engine economy.

In fact, DSG is an abbreviation for the German concept of Direktschaltgetriebe, which can be translated into Russian as “direct gear box”. Robotic boxes of this type with 6 ranges were first used in 2003 on a car Volkswagen Golf R3 with a 6-cylinder engine producing 250 hp. Later, they began to put them not only on sports versions, but also on cars designed for the average buyer.

Robotic transmission: what is it?

The principle of the device and the advantages of this transmission

On vehicles equipped with DSG, the driver shifts gears independently using the gearbox accelerator, but the action itself is coordinated electronically. With mechanics, such a box is similar in design and component parts: primary and secondary shaft, clutch and synchronizers. What is common with a robot or automatic machine is the absence of a clutch pedal, for which automation is responsible.

The DSG transmission consists of 5 shafts, multiple gears and 2 clutches. A clear mechanism of all components and the parallel operation of two multi-plate clutches are responsible for the transmission of torque. The bottom line is that one clutch works with odd gears (as well as reverse), and the other with even ones. It turns out that if the car is moving in second gear, then the third is already ready to start working - all that remains is to release the first clutch.

The same principle of operation in the case of a downshift. For example, a car is moving in fifth gear, and fourth is already engaged, its gear is simply spinning idle, but will immediately begin to work when the engine speed drops. Thanks to this device, some cars with a preselective gearbox are faster than cars with a manual transmission.
When operating a car with DSG, gear changes are invisible, as on a CVT. Many drivers talk about the feeling that you are driving in one gear. Absence of shocks when switching, which are characteristic automatic box and especially mechanics, a definite plus.

Another significant benefit of the DSG transmission is fuel economy. According to the tests of the Volkswagen AG automobile concern, savings with a manual transmission are up to 1.5 liters per hundred, which is not bad, given the high fuel prices in Russia and Europe.

Box DSG gear-6 also has internal marking DQ-250. Unlike the same 7-speed DQ-200 has an important difference in design. The clutch block of the DSG-6 is immersed in an oil bath, where it is regardless of whether the gearbox is working or not. Therefore, the "six" is often called a "wet" transmission. For its operation, more oil is needed (about 6-6.5 liters) than for a more modern DSG-7 (2 liters).

Regular replacement lubricant necessary for a 6-speed robot, while a 7-speed gearbox has a dry clutch, so maintenance and replacement transmission fluid not required by the factory.

When purchasing or operating a car with a DSG-6 gearbox, remember that its long service life directly depends on 3 factors. This is a timely oil change in the transmission, a minimum of driving in slip mode and a decrease in the time spent in traffic jams.

When to change the oil in DSG-6 type boxes

Changing transmission oil in such gearboxes must be carried out strictly according to the regulations described in the vehicle maintenance manual. More than 90% of DSG-6 breakdowns are untimely requests to change the oil in the transmission and violation of the rules for operating the motor or gearbox.

Transmission repair cannot be called a low-cost pleasure - in a number of regions the cost is more than 50,000 rubles. Often, solenoid valves in the gearbox mechatronics fail, which already threatens with spending more than 100,000 rubles. However, in general, the "six" is recognized as one of the most reliable robotic transmissions, which, with proper maintenance, travels 200-250 thousand kilometers without major repairs.

For most Volkswagen cars, Audi and Skoda manufacturer indicates that the replacement of transmission fluids in DSG-6 boxes is carried out when a mileage of 60 thousand kilometers is reached. However, most experts recommend carrying out this procedure much earlier - at the mark of 40 thousand kilometers on the car's odometer.

Many car owners note that changing the oil in a DSG of any type helps to get rid of jerks and jerks in operation, the car drives more smoothly, and it seems that they have installed new transmission. This is another reason to change the oil in the gearbox earlier than the time recommended by the manufacturer.

Oil change in DSG: what is needed and how to perform the procedure yourself?

Changing the fluid in a gearbox of this type will require transmission oil for gearboxes with double clutch DSG - VAG G052182A2 in the amount of 6 liters, oil filter VAG 02E305051C, as well as the sealing ring of the drain plug under the article N91084501.

A number of drivers prefer Pentosin FFl-2 transmission oil to the “Vagovskaya” fluid, which is cheaper by 300-350 rubles per liter. It has the same VW TL 521 82 approval, which guarantees stable operation of DSG dual clutch gearboxes. The main thing is, in no case do not interfere with one another in any proportions. If you chose VAG, then pour only it, if, on the contrary, Pentosin, then completely oil of this model.

The easiest and most reliable way to change the fluid in dual clutch transmissions is to go to the dealer, as certain equipment and skills are required, and a work guarantee can be obtained from a certified center. The estimated cost of the procedure, together with all consumables (filter, oil, sealant, etc.) will be 10-12 thousand rubles.
If you decide to replace the transmission fluid in the gearbox yourself, then the savings will be about 3-4 thousand. True, you will have to devote 2-3 hours of free time and get a tool.

The main stages of this process

  1. We raise the car on a lift or drive into a viewing hole. We turn off the engine, put the gearshift knob into parking mode.
  2. We unscrew the drain plug of the box pan. First, about a liter of liquid will merge, after that we unscrew the control tube (you will need an 8mm hexagon). The rest of the used oil will be poured in the amount of 4-5 liters. Pay attention to whether there are foreign particles in the liquid, similar to metal chips. Their presence is a sign of an imminent failure of the DSG, so it is best to contact a specialized center for transmission diagnostics.
  3. Next, go to the box oil filter, which is located above. To access it, you will have to remove the battery and the platform under it, and for greater convenience, we remove the air filter housing and the air ducts coming from it. We unscrew the cover one or two turns, let the oil residues drain into the crankcase, after which we unscrew the cover completely and change the transmission filter element.
  4. Next, you need to fill in new gear oil. Some pour it directly into the filter housing, but this is quite long and inconvenient - it takes about 10-12 minutes per liter. It is best to find an adapter that screws in instead of the oil drain plug. Also, a hose goes to it, with a diameter of 10 and it is desirable to find a transparent color. This can be bought at any hardware store. The length will be enough 2 meters. We pull the other end of the hose over the neck of a narrow funnel, which we fasten higher than it is located engine compartment. For example, hanging on Side mirror car.
  5. Pour the oil into the funnel, remembering to shake each bottle. According to the manufacturer, the total volume is about 7 liters, but only 5 liters are included when replacing. So, we pour out the contents of 5 bottles or 5 liters, depending on what container you have, and the 6th one is only half.
    We start the engine, the funnel continues to be attached to the mirror of the car. We warm up the box by switching the gearbox accelerator to different modes. The oil temperature should be in the region of 35-45 ° Celsius in order to most accurately check the level. As a rule, transmission fluid is poured at room temperature - 20 ° and 3-5 minutes are enough to warm up the car's gearbox.
  6. After that, we unscrew the funnel and install the last bottle of oil instead. Then we put it on the floor, i.e. below the level of the engine and gearbox. Through the transparent hose tube, you will see how excess transmission fluid drains. As soon as it stops flowing, but only dripping a little, unscrew the adapter and tighten the oil drain plug. Do not forget to replace the seal on it in advance.
  7. We twist it only by hand. With the engine running, again turn on each gearshift position in turn with a delay of 3-5 seconds. We return the lever to "P", but do not turn off the engine. We unscrew the plug. If oil drips, then let the excess go. If nothing drains, then add liquid and repeat all over again.

Vehicle Maintenance: Draining and Refilling Transmission Lubricant

The most difficult thing in a procedure such as changing transmission fluid in a DSG is determining its exact temperature in the box. The best way to deal with this is a special device from VAG, which is connected to the diagnostic connector of the car. However, many motorists manage without it. The main thing to understand is that both a lack and an excess of oil are harmful to the transmission, and the optimum temperature for checking the level is 35-45 °.

And a little about the secrets of the Author

My life is not only connected with cars, namely repair and maintenance. But I also have hobbies like all men. My hobby is fishing.

I started a personal blog where I share my experience. I try a lot of things, various methods and ways to increase the catch. If interested, you can read. Nothing more, just my personal experience.

Attention, only TODAY!

The manufacturer himself claims that the DSG robot is highly reliable and is a cost-effective solution compared to traditional hydromechanical automatic transmissions or CVTs. One way or another, it is important to understand that this box needs regular and high-quality maintenance, taking into account a number of features of its design.

Such maintenance should be understood primarily as an oil change in the DSG, as well as the DSG. Next, we will talk about when the oil in the DSG needs to be changed, how the oil is changed in the DSG box, and what to look for as part of this procedure.

Changing gear oil in a DSG robot: when is it needed and why

So, at the heart of the specified checkpoint is mechanical box, and also (by analogy with the manual transmission). In other words, unlike the "classic" automatic or CVT, there is no torque converter.

At the same time, there are two clutch discs, due to which the gears switch very quickly and smoothly. The result is a high level of comfort and fuel efficiency, as well as impressive acceleration dynamics, since there is practically no interruption in the power flow during shifts, etc.

Controls the operation of the box and clutch, as well as (analogue). In fact, the electronic unit sends signals to the actuators, after which, due to the redistribution of fluid (oil) flows in mechatronics, gears are switched on and other processes are controlled.

It is quite obvious that the presence of such a device as a mechatronic means increased requirements for the quality and condition of the gear oil. In other words, a timely oil change in the DSG box is necessary.

We note right away that according to the regulations, an oil change in the DSG-6, and also often in the DSG-7, is necessary every 60 thousand km. However, if the vehicle is used in severe conditions (trailer towing, aggressive driving, maximum loads), the transmission oil needs to be changed earlier (the interval is reduced by 20-30 or even 40%).

Please note, DSG-6 is and can go about 200-250 thousand km. without repair. At the same time, it is important to understand that the result untimely replacement oil in the box, along with a violation of the operating requirements for the gearbox, is the vast majority of DSG breakdowns encountered.

Also, after an oil change, most owners note that after a change, for example, in the DSG-6, the shocks disappear when switching, the box works smoothly, without jerks. Next, we will consider the process of changing the oil in the DSG-6 with our own hands.

How to choose and change oil in DSG

So, in order to change the oil in the DSG, you must first select a special transmission fluid or oil in DSG box, which is suitable for units of this type. To change the oil in a DSG box, for example, DQ-250, 6 liters of gear oil will be required.

Considering that such a gearbox has a “wet” clutch (clutch packs are immersed in an oil bath), more oil is needed in this case. As for the DSG-7 with the so-called "dry" clutch, a smaller amount of transmission fluid is required in such a box.

We also note that in addition to the liquid, it is necessary to change the oil filter of the DSG box, as well as a special sealing ring for the drain plug. As a rule, when replacing original oils and transmission fluids with VW TL52182 approvals. You can also select suitable analogues from third-party manufacturers.

The main thing is to use high quality products as well. If we talk about the replacement itself, you can either use the services of specialized service stations, or perform all the manipulations yourself.

  • First of all, in addition to oil and a gearbox filter, you will need a garage with an inspection hole or a lift, a set of tools, containers for draining mining, rags;
  • Before starting the replacement, the box must be warmed up by driving about 10 km by car;
  • Next, the car is placed on a pit or lifted on a lift, if available, the engine protection is removed;
  • Then you need to remove the air intake along with air filter, joint stock bank with a casing and the pallet;
  • Next, the plastic cup is unscrewed, the filter is removed;
  • After you need to remove the breather cap (located closer to the headlight from the filter);
  • Now you can go down under the car and unscrew the drain plug, substitute a container where mining will merge;
  • After unscrewing the plug, a hex key is inserted into the hole, with which a special insert is unscrewed. This allows you to drain the maximum amount of oil;
  • After removing the insert, you need to wait until all the oil has drained into the container;
  • In parallel, you need to saturate the new DSG box filter with fresh oil. To do this, you can insert the filter into the cup body and spill it with oil;
  • After the oil has completely drained from the gearbox, the insert can be screwed in, but the drain plug does not need to be screwed in. If it is screwed in, the oil will be poured into the unit faster;
  • To avoid oil leaks, a container should be placed in the area of the drain hole.
  • Now it remains to insert a funnel into the gearbox breather (from above under the hood) and fill in fresh oil. Pour should be slowly and carefully, dosing portions.

We also add that oil can be filled in in other ways (for example, pumped with a syringe through the drain hole), however, in practice, filling through a breather is the fastest and most efficient. Also, after about 4.5 liters of oil have been poured into the box, you need to tighten the gearbox oil filter cover, put the breather cap in place, install the previously removed elements of the engine intake system, and connect the terminals to the battery.

At the same time, it is not necessary to tighten and twist anything else. At the same time, the old drain plug Gearbox (we don’t install a new one yet, the sealing rings don’t change either). Next, the engine must be started by connecting to the computer in parallel through.

The main task is to wait until the oil in the DSG warms up to 40-48 degrees. After such heating, the engine does not need to be turned off, while the old drain plug should be unscrewed. It is important that the oil drips a little from the hole as a result of the vibrations of the running engine.

Then you need to wait some time until the excess flows out, that is, the right amount remains in the gearbox (the plug-insert installed in the drain hole will not allow more grease to leak out). Please note that if the oil does not immediately drip when the plug is unscrewed, this indicates that it is not filled enough and topping up is needed.

After the oil stops dripping, this will indicate the correct oil level in the gearbox. In this case, you can screw in a new plug with a sealing ring, as well as turn off the engine. Now you can proceed to reassembly by tightening all previously removed and untwisted elements. This completes the oil change.

What is the result

As you can see, although the DSG box is not a “classic” automatic and is more like a manual transmission, the oil in the DSG should still be changed more often and performed regularly.

The reason is the presence of mechatronics and increased sensitivity to the transmission fluid in the gearbox. The manufacturer's own regulations also indicate the need for replacement, that is, such a box cannot be considered officially maintenance-free.

It turns out that owners of car models with DSG-6 should take into account that the service life of the transmission directly depends on the timely replacement of the oil and gearbox filter in the transmission. You also need to follow certain operating rules (avoid sudden starts, high loads, slippage, towing a trailer and other cars).

Finally, we note that changing the oil in a DSG-6 or DSG-7 box in some cases improves the quality of the gearbox itself, gets rid of jerks when switching, the car accelerates better, the transmission makes less noise during operation, does not vibrate so much, etc. P.

Another thing is when you bought a used car with an expired warranty, it is clear that there is no point in continuing to service the car from an authorized dealer. In today's article, we will talk in detail about how to independently change the oil in a DSG-7 box in Volkswagen Passat CC (there is practically no difference between replacing the restyled and derestyling versions, at least the process itself is completely similar). We will also consider the issue of choosing an oil, which oil is recommended to be filled official dealer and which oil is best suited as an analogue so that you can save a little.

    Owners of the bu Volkswagen Passat ss 1.8 with dsg-7 often have the question of whether they need to change the oil in the box or not? The controversy arises from the fact that the DSG-7 uses a dry clutch, which is why many people mistakenly think that the oil in the box is completely empty and therefore there is nothing to change. Let's dispel this myth.

    How much oil is in a DSG-7 DQ 200 box?

    The second most popular question, which logically follows from the first, is how much oil do you need to change? After studying a huge number of forums where owners share their experiences, we came to a figure of 2.1 liters. In comparison, the oil change in the DSG-6 is 6 liters, it is easy to remember the amount is exactly the number of gears.

    What kind of oil to fill?

    It is best to pour the gear oil recommended by the manufacturer G 052 512 A2, it is sold in liter bottles at a price
    from 900 to 1,300 rubles, depending on the region. This product is suitable for manual and robotic transmissions (DSG-7 DQ 200) installed on Audi, Skoda, SEAT and Volkswagen.

    Alternatively, some use:

    • FEBI 21829 price from 500 rubles per 1 liter;
    • SWAG 10921829 price from 500 rubles per 1 liter;
    • VAG GCN052512Z2 price from 900 rubles per 1 liter.

    Step-by-step instructions for changing the oil yourself

    Before proceeding to the description of the actions, in addition to oil, you will need a drain plug; its cost is 170 rubles. From the tools you will need a hexagon on “10”, a syringe with a flexible hose and the actual container where the old oil will drain. This process must be run on a warm transmission. so let's get started:

    1. remove the plastic protection;
    2. unscrew the checkpoint plug;
    3. drain the oil;
    4. twist the cork;
    5. put plastic protection;
    6. remove the cap from the breather;
    7. insert a tube into the hole;
    8. fill in the oil (Important! you need to fill in the oil exactly as much as the old one poured out, because the box is not equipped with a dipstick, you will have to do the calculations yourself);
    9. put the breather cap in place.

    That, in principle, is the whole process, which should not cause any particular difficulties and a long time. By the way,
