The most trusted car brands. The most reliable cars in the world

About 55% of cars moving on the roads of Russia were produced more than 10 years ago. The leaders in reliability and durability are Japanese and German cars. The motors of German cars are capable of overcoming the milestone of 500,000 km. And the engines of the "Japanese" do not fail even at 600,000 kilometers. The average "Koreans", "Americans" and "French" have an engine resource of up to 300,000 km. Russian auto overhaul may be required already at 150-200 thousand kilometers.

What cars do not spoil neither age nor mileage? We have compiled a list of "long-livers" popular among Russians. Who entered the "top five", read below.

Toyota Camry

Opens top japanese sedan Toyota Camry. This is one of the most popular foreign cars with mileage. Over the past three months, it has been checked through the Autocode service 139,825 times. The sixth generation Camry is in the greatest demand, which is sold at half the price of fresh models. The sixth "body" of 2006 can be bought from 500,000 rubles, and the seventh version of 2012 - from 850,000 rubles.

With careful use, the old "Camry" 12-15 years old can last to the present day. And they will last just as long with proper care. They have reliable suspension, brakes and engine. At the same time, Camry does not require serious investments in maintenance and repair. The average cost per year is 70-80 thousand rubles for maintenance, replacement of consumables and technical fluids. Of the minuses of the "Japanese" - roll, squeaks in the cabin and poor sound insulation.

Price new Toyota Camry— 1,800,000 rubles
Toyota Camry2013— 950,000 rubles
2008 Toyota Camry— 650,000 rubles

Audi A4

The second car in the top five "centenarians" is a representative from Germany. Audi runs A4 on secondary market reach 700 or more thousand kilometers. And the manufacturer-guaranteed 350,000 km Audi "run" in one breath. Here, for example, the 2002 model:

But even with high mileage, the A4 retains a stiff suspension, and the engine works perfectly. True, the clearance of the “four” is low - only 11 cm. The car will not drive through our pits and bumps for a long time without repair.

Maintaining and repairing the "German" is expensive even in specialized car services. Clutch replacement costs from 18 thousand rubles only for work. The repair of the valve body together with removal will cost the same amount.

Nevertheless, the Audi A4 is in good demand in Russia. Through Autocode, it was checked 25,120 times in three months.

The cost of a newAudi A4 — 2,100,000 rubles
Audi A4 2013— 900,000 rubles
Audi A4 2008— 550,000 rubles

Honda Civic

Honda Civic saw the light in 1972. To date, 10 generations of the model have been released, and all of them are liquid on the secondary market. Through Autocode, the model has been checked 28,335 times over the past 3 months.

The car attracts with excellent handling and a reliable engine with a guaranteed resource of 300-350 thousand km. With proper maintenance, a 1.8-liter engine will travel 500 thousand kilometers. He has thoughtful dashboard, good dynamics and secure suspension. But with boxes, everything is not so clear. The "automatic" works properly, but the "robot" often breaks due to wear of parts.

Also, the Civic has low ground clearance and poor sound insulation. Seat upholstery wears out quickly. Owners have to wait a long time for spare parts and pay a lot of money for them. Thus, a 2003-2006 Honda engine is sold at Avto.ru for 28.5 thousand rubles, and an automatic transmission for 24.5 thousand rubles. But the car calmly “runs back” another 150-200 thousand kilometers without serious technical problems.

The cost of a newHonda Civic— 850,000 rubles
Honda Civic2013— 750,000 rubles
Honda Civic2008— 400,000 rubles

Skoda Octavia

The fourth car in our selection - Skoda Octavia. This "age" car, if carefully used, can travel 15 years or more. It is equipped with a strong rigid suspension, reliable manual transmission, clutch and brakes. If you do not save on the purchase of spare parts for the above units, the car will travel another 100-200 thousand kilometers from the moment they are installed to replacement.

Of the minuses Czech Skoda Octavia - weak automatic transmissions and lack of frills in design and technical equipment. In the cabin - cheap plastic, which eventually begins to creak and crack. Nevertheless, Octavia is popular among motorists and is especially in demand among owners of taxi companies. This report is a great proof of that:

Taxi car license is valid until 2022:

The popularity of the car is also proved by the number of checks through the "Autocode". For three months, a report on Octavia was received 90,487 times!

The cost of a newSkoda Octavia— 1,300,000 rubles

Skoda Octavia2008— 350,000 rubles

Volkswagen Polo

The last representative of our “five” will serve from the moment of release until it is no longer carefully exploited. The Polo has a high ground clearance of 17 cm, so it is not afraid of dead roads. The bottom has an anti-gravel coating that protects the bottom from flying stones. The body is double galvanized to prevent rust on parts.

Of the minuses of a German car - expensive official maintenance and repairs. Replacing the steering rack, for example, will cost 8,000 rubles, and overhaul engine - from 35 thousand rubles for parts and labor. Other shortcomings of the Polo include hard plastic in the cabin and poor sound insulation. Nevertheless, the “German” is very popular with domestic motorists. Over the past three months, this model has been tested 84,459 times.

Very often, people search the Internet for profitable options for buying. They are bought more often than cars from the salon without mileage. There are several objective reasons that explain such a large demand for the secondary car market among our compatriots. But used cars also have some drawbacks in the form of possible, caused by the natural aging processes of the car and contributing to the appearance of multiple malfunctions. Therefore, experienced motorists recommend choosing among the most reliable used cars. And to do this on the basis of real research and tests that allow you to give an objective assessment of such a parameter as reliability.

TOP of the most reliable cars in the secondary market.

Rating Features

It is not so easy to determine the list of the most reliable used cars. But this does not stop the active growth in the popularity of used cars. The choice in favor of used cars is explained by several main reasons:

  1. Price. In the secondary market, the cost of a car is noticeably lower than for new cars from the salon. For the same money you can buy absolutely different cars from the dealer and among used options.
  2. Range. Many rightly point out that there is much more choice in the secondary market. Therefore, the buyer has plenty to choose from, what to filter out and find the most acceptable option for certain characteristics.
  3. Equipment. The same car, but with a difference of 1 - 2 years, costs completely different money. For a certain amount, you can take a car from the salon in the basic configuration. But second-hand versions with 1 - 2 years of run are also offered for the same money, but in an average or top-end configuration.

It is important to remember that a used car is always a certain risk. The vehicle may be among the most used ones, but due to the aggressive driving style, unscrupulous seller and other nuances, it is possible to buy a car with hidden defects and too worn out elements. But if you know how to assess the condition, or be sure to carry out a technical inspection of the purchased car before buying, then we recommend that you study the top from the best representatives this segment.

The proposed rating, which included the most reliable cars with mileage of different ages, is the result of the fruitful work of the German agency TUV. This organization is considered the most authoritative and objective in Europe. This is explained by the incorruptibility of representatives of the association of technical supervision from Germany, as well as the amount of work that they perform to obtain the final result.

They examine hundreds of thousands of cars in the secondary market every year. They have the opportunity to collect information about technical inspections carried out in Germany. MOT in this country is a mandatory procedure for all car owners. Therefore, hundreds of car models of different manufacturers, different years of manufacture and condition pass through TUV.

First they collect data, then they process the information, draw conclusions about:

  • characteristic breakdowns of machines;
  • frequencies with certain problems;
  • weaknesses different cars;
  • condition of the body, wiring and other components, their changes over time;
  • ratio of mileage and frequency of occurrence of malfunctions, etc.

This is how the final list of cars is obtained, among which they determine the list of the most reliable cars in the secondary market, as well as the top outsiders. All research information is based solely on accurate statistical data. There are no subjective assessments here. Everything is clear and transparent. Therefore, TUV is considered the most objective and authoritative appraiser of such a car parameter as reliability.

Distribution principle

The rating does not have a specific attachment to body type, engines or other characteristics of cars. Therefore, at the same time, diesel and gasoline cars are present in the top, as well as hybrid versions and other representatives of the secondary market. The list aims to identify only the most reliable used cars.

To make the rating more objective and understandable, it was divided into several groups, depending on the age of the car. This is the only criterion by which the division is carried out. The list of vehicles under study includes those vehicles whose age ranges from 2 to 11 years. We offer a look at the 10 most reliable used cars, where each top is presented in a specific age group:

  • 2 - 3 years;
  • 45 years;
  • 6 - 7 years;
  • 8 - 9 years;
  • 10 - 11 years old.

This will allow you to understand what is better to choose among two-year-old cars, as well as how their level of reliability will potentially change in a few years. We will immediately focus on you following how European and Japanese reliable cars change their positions among used options. This is quite an interesting trend, opening up some important nuances for those who want to buy nice car at least 5 - 6 years of operation.

Group 2 - 3 years

In each category, TUV provides a wide range of used vehicles that have scored the highest in terms of reliability. Only the top 10 will be presented here. Under the age of 3 years, the most reliable used cars look like this:

  1. The leader was the car 911 from Porsche. Its failure rate is only 2.1%.
  2. The second line was taken by the GLK model from Mercedes with the same 2.1% percent. But according to additional indicators, it was Porsche that took the lead.
  3. Mercedes is in third place again, but already B-Class. Surprisingly enough for many, since faith in the reliability of the manufacturer has been falling in recent years.
  4. Fourth place again for Mercedes. This position was taken by the A-Class with a breakdown rate of 2.3%.
  5. Fifth place for Mercedes SLK.
  6. The sixth line is confidently occupied by the last representative of the German automaker Mercedes M-Class in this list.
  7. Finally a non-German car in 6th place. This is a Mazda 2 from Japan.
  8. The eighth line was taken by the Adam model manufactured by Opel. She had a failure rate of 2.6%.
  9. The penultimate ninth place is also for Opel. This time, the Mokka crossover was awarded such high positions.
  10. Closed the top ten again german crossover, but now the Audi Q5. Its failure rate was 2.7%.

Quite interesting results, but there is no need to dispute or doubt their validity. So far, Japanese reliable cars are not among the leaders. And this, although surprising, is natural. Let's see how the situation will change further.

Group 4 - 5 years

Here the percentage of breakdowns begins to increase markedly. Still, 4 - 5 years of operation make themselves felt. The reliability rating has changed somewhat, new cars have entered here, and some leaders from the previous top have also remained. Slightly increased their presence Japanese cars, but the Germans continue to confidently dominate the top ten. At least in quantity. We offer to study the list of cars in terms of reliability among 5- summer cars and determine which model is better to buy.

At the end, even one Korean car was among the best, gaining only 5.6%. For comparison, an outsider among the top thirty in the face of the Japanese Honda crossover The CR-V received a 7.3% score from TUV. The indicator is not bad, but among the top 10 there are objectively good used cars that are worth buying.

Group 6 - 7 years

The top ten has changed significantly again. It is interesting that the winner of the first group, as well as the 4th place in the previous top Porsche 911, climbed up again. This time he settled on 2 positions. The leader has also changed. In the past ranking among cars 4 - 5 years Mazda 3 was only 8. Now the car tops the top among used cars 6 - 7 years. The percentage of breakdowns ranges from 6.8 to 10.1%. The overall picture is as follows, starting from 1st to 10th place:

The changes are dramatic in many respects. Some cars didn't even make it into the top 30, and then abruptly ended up in the top spots.

Group 8 - 9 years

In the previous groups, the Porsche 911 lost its positions, began to gradually return to the top, and here again turned out to be the undisputed leader with a figure of 9.9%. The closest competitor, which turned out to be the Audi TT, showed 11.5% breakdowns. As a result, the leaderboard looks like this:

The Mini ranked 10th in the top has a breakdown rate of 14.9%. Previously, it did not rise above 23 lines. Here, a certain dominance of Japanese cars is already seriously traced. The top thirty were representatives of Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi and Suzuki.

Group 10 – 11 years old

In this group, automakers are able to demonstrate that their cars are really reliable. Many leaders of the previous rankings have not changed their positions much, or at least have not left the top thirty. There are also unexpected newcomers who in previous groups did not approach the top ten. Used cars with a service life of 10 to 11 years ranked in the top 10 in terms of reliability in the following sequence from 1 to 10 places:

An interesting picture emerges. Of the 10 leaders, 6 positions are occupied by representatives of the Japanese auto industry. And this is by far the best. Japanese company is Toyota. Only 3 left german car, and squeezed into the top ten one American representative. This state of affairs suggests that the Japanese are making more tenacious machines that can last an impressive amount of time. Moreover, it is interesting that selective cars were not taken as the basis of the report, but the indicators of absolutely all used cars that underwent technical inspection in Germany were taken into account.

It can be added that the rating is relevant for all countries, even though cars were checked exclusively in Germany, where there is a higher level of service, quality roads and fewer factors contributing to wear vehicle. The rating makes it clear which cars are better to rely on in the long term, as well as which of the leaders is able to quickly turn out to be among the outsiders. The reverse picture is also observed, when in the first years of service the machine does not show excellent results in terms of percentage of breakdowns, but after 8-11 years it turns out to be one of the most acceptable in terms of operation and maintenance.

Everyone must draw their own conclusions. Reliability is a fundamental, but not the only criterion on the basis of which buyers choose a used car. Which car you choose is entirely up to you. But try to take into account the fact that the machine, maintain, eliminate certain malfunctions. And the fewer problems the car delivers during operation, the better, more practical and more profitable it is for the owner.

Who, if not the owners themselves, will best tell about their cars? They know how many times they visited the service, they know why the car they bought did not suit them, what expectations from the operation of the car were not confirmed, and where such problems got out that they had to get into their wallet. Have you already seen
Another large-scale study was conducted by the European branch of the J.D. power. The agency is engaged in a global survey of car owners who bought their cars more than a year ago and have already driven about 30,000 km on average. A huge questionnaire was filled out by 17,200 motorists who purchased cars between January 2007 and December 2008. Questions that were asked to car owners are very diverse. They concerned the operation of car components, reliability, interior comfort, luggage transportation, up to simple general impressions about the car.
A total of 104 models from 27 manufacturers were evaluated. As a result of processing the questionnaires, cars were evaluated according to four parameters, each of which had its own weight in the final assessment of a particular model:

  • owner complaints - 37%;
  • quality and reliability - 24%;
  • ownership and spending - 22%;
  • quality of service at dealers - 17%.

The parameters “Quality and reliability”, as well as “Complaints of owners” really give an objective assessment of a particular car, regardless of the country
vehicle operation. But the cost of ownership and maintenance at dealers from country to country can vary greatly, since each
In the market, a manufacturer can pursue a completely different policy on the choice of dealers and prices for spare parts and repairs.

In general, the survey reflects the satisfaction of the owner with his car - by what percentage did this or that model meet the expectations of its owners.

Absolutely best result showed a crossover from Lexus. The Lexus RX achieved a customer satisfaction score of 86.7% and was 3% clear of second place by the prestigious Jaguar XF sedan. Not so long ago, Jaguar brand cars occupied rather modest positions in reliability ratings, especially if these ratings were issued in Germany or the States. But now, firstly, Jaguar really began to collect fewer complaints from owners about the quality and reliability of their models, and secondly, this study was conducted in the UK, where they are very loyal to the domestic automaker - the pride of the British.

Third on the global satisfaction list is another Lexus, the IS sedan.
By the way, except for the Lexus RX that pulled ahead, the other 103 models showed fairly close results - there are no outright failures here: the cars are in a tight group and the gap in the results of the second and last places was only about 10%.

Customer satisfaction is completely independent of vehicle size or body style. The top ten included a tiny urban hatchback from Toyota, a compact van from Honda, prestigious sedans from Audi and Jaguar, crossovers from Lexus and Honda, C-class model from KIA. It is noticeable that premium brands, and in particular Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, took places in the first half of the list. Together with them, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen models firmly settled here.

But French cars in Britain have always been disliked, and in the list of customer satisfaction they rank low. The first Frenchman, the Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, only appears on the list in 37th place (which it shares with the Audi A4 and BMW 5-Series), and the bulk of the French models have accumulated towards the bottom of the list.

There is another absurdity in the testimony of the British. Three absolutely identical models, produced at the same plant in Slovakia, are located in different parts of the list. The car with the Japanese nameplate Toyota Aygo took 31st place, while cars with French emblems were in 90th (Citroen C1) and 99th (Peugeot 107) places.

Among urban minicars, the best marks for quality and reliability were received by FIAT Panda and Citroen C1; when it came to complaints from the owners, the FIAT 500 was the least of all complaints, while the French models and the old Ford Ka received from the British in full. But in terms of dealer work and maintenance costs, the Toyota Aygo and Smart ForTwo scored high and were the best in the urban subcompact class. They were accompanied by two FIATs - Panda and 500.

In total, 23 models are presented in this category. At the top of the list are Japanese models and a small English MINI. The best in quality and reliability
were recognized as Honda Jazz and Toyota Yaris. In addition, the highest rating for reliability received Mitsubishi Colt, and for the quality of the salon - Volkswagen Polo.
At the bottom of the list, good results in terms of quality and reliability were shown Ford Fiesta, Citroen C3 and Opel Meriva, which is sold in England under the brand name
Vauxhall. The brightest, and most importantly, the most English car MINI collected the fewest complaints. The Toyota Yaris received the highest ratings for service and cost of maintenance in the UK.

And here is the first extremely unexpected result: among the 19 golf-class models, the consumer liked the affordable Korean model of Slovak production the most. Excellent quality and reliability, no complaints and low prices service brought KIA Cee'd to first place in the class and fourth in the overall customer satisfaction rating. The KIA Cee'd has not only overtaken the class benchmark VW Golf, but also premium compacts from BMW, Audi and Volvo. The latest of these, the Volvo C30, received top marks for quality and reliability. The VW Jetta and KIA Cee'd also get high marks for reliability. Body quality is the best Toyota Auris, and the new Mazda3 also received the highest score for reliability

A clear division of consumer preferences can be seen in the ratings of 12 D-class cars. The highest scores were given to Japanese models and Volvo, followed by German and French models. The highest marks for quality and reliability are received only by Toyota Prius. Another top mark for body quality goes to Honda Accord, and no other model in this class received top marks for reliability and quality. But the Accord had a minimum number of complaints. Customers were also loyal to the Volvo S40. The highest rating for cost of ownership was, of course, the hybrid Prius.

There is a Chinese proverb: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step".

Choosing a reliable brand of car for a motorist is only one step in the purchase of a vehicle, but it is perhaps the most important. Cause ride on prone frequent breakdowns car means endangering not only yourself, but also passengers and even pedestrians. That is why the German technical control organization TÜV Rheinland (TUV), with over 800 branches worldwide, conducts an annual study to identify most reliable cars.

Gold in the ranking of the most reliable cars in the 2-3-year category was awarded to Mercedes B class. What is good for the Germans, who are stingy with praise, is in this case also good for the Russians. The a car can be recommended to those who are looking for the most reliable car for Russia.

The most reliable car in the secondary market in the 4-5 year group is the Audi A1. Auto of the German company Porcshe and Japanese Toyota got the first and second places among the most reliable cars in 2016 (rating of cars from six to seven, from eight to nine and from ten to eleven years).

Here's what the lists of leaders and outsiders look like in the TUV study.

The TUV report for 2016 notes that every fourth or fifth car has to undergo a technical inspection again, due to serious malfunctions. Most often, inspectors find faults in lighting. They also drew criticism from inspectors. frequent malfunctions in the chassis, brake problems and engine oil leaks. But rust is almost non-existent.

The more years the car, the more extensive its list of problems. For different brands of cars of a small "age" (2-3 years), the number of faults identified during technical inspection does not exceed 7.8%. But the expensive ones budget cars with mileage, whose service life is 10-11 years, the number of malfunctions was 31.4%. TUV experts recommend not neglecting regular inspections and monitoring the quality of the selected service station.

Often the question of which car is the most reliable comes to the fore for the future owner. Determine by eye the resource and possible breakdowns unreal. Partly help tests and experience of other owners. Unfortunately, there is no rating of reliable cars for Russia as such.

Some criteria are not mandatory for a particular class. For example, a city hatchback does not need good cross-country ability, a work van does not need perfect handling, and the economy of a sports car is often turned a blind eye. But high reliability is one of the main parameters that a family car, a sports coupe, and an SUV must meet. Therefore, many people want to buy the most reliable car.

The German organization TUV carries out technical control and inspection of cars traveling on the roads of Germany. Every year she publishes a rating of the most reliable cars of different years of production. These data can be considered objective, because the lists are compiled based on the results of an independent technical inspection.

Many organizations (Consumer Reports, Auto Express, etc.) take the reviews of the owners themselves as a source of information about which car is the most reliable, which are not always professional or true. On the other hand, the owner himself can eliminate the malfunctions in advance, and the car will arrive for the technical inspection already in full working order.

Every year in Germany, millions of cars undergo technical inspection. In order for a certain car model to be included in the ranking of the most reliable cars, at least 500 copies must be checked. All cars are divided into five age groups: 2 to 3 years, 4 to 5, 6 to 7, 8 to 9 and 10 to 11.

The best thing about which cars are the most reliable is the rating of four- and five-year-old cars. During this period, the mileage usually already exceeds the mark of 50-100 thousand km. Vehicle is properly serviced official dealer and malfunctions in most cases speak of design miscalculations or workmanship.

Reliability is characterized by the possibility of trouble-free operation without breakdowns of units and other malfunctions. It largely depends on how correct and timely it was Maintenance, condition monitoring and adjustment of mechanisms. In addition, the design features of the units of a particular model, compliance with the manufacturing technologies of various components and assembly quality have a strong influence.

The most reliable cars 2018-2019

Top 5 most reliable cars aged 2-3 years:

  • Mercedes SLK;
  • Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan;
  • Shared third place mercedes b-class and GLK;
  • Mazda 2.

The new model VW Golf Sportsvan took the second position in the ranking of the most reliable cars aged 2-3 years. 2.5% of cars have problems during inspection. This is an excellent indicator for an inexpensive compact van.

The five most reliable cars from 4 to 5 years:

  • Mercedes B-class;
  • Mazda CX-5;
  • Audi Q5;
  • Mercedes SLK.

Mercedes B-Class has no pronounced weaknesses. Sometimes inspection reveals minor malfunctions of lighting fixtures. There are isolated cases of failures of systems controlling harmful emissions. Also available in Germany are B-class versions with electric motors.

No other model in the world is as associated with its brand as the Porsche 911. The sports car is also popular in the used car market. Among the frequent defects of 4-year-old coupes, chips were found on the front and windshield. Good condition body almost guarantees complete driving pleasure without sudden breakdowns.

The most reliable cars of 2018-2019 at the age of 6-7 years:

  • Audi Q5 and TT;
  • Honda CR-V and Mazda.

Audi Q5 was launched in mass production 10 years ago and today it is popular in the German secondary market. The crossover does not have any congenital diseases, thanks to which it is included in the top 3 most reliable SUV class cars.

Second Audi generation The TT has a high reliability (one of the best in its class), especially noticeable on a coupe with high mileage. Suspension and brake failures are common in the sports car segment, and the TT is an exception. A few comments to Audi - defects in the anthers of the steering gear and headlight settings.

Top 5 most reliable cars among 8-9 year old cars:

  • Audi TT;
  • Ford Kuga;
  • Ford Fusion.

The trouble-free operation of the VW Golf Plus does not fail with age. Volkswagen leaves a good impression on runs from 100 to 200 thousand km. Common Problems associated with wear brake mechanisms, anthers and rubber suspension parts. There are breakdowns of the rear lights, the failure of the LEDs makes it necessary to change the optics assembly.

Ford Kuga is one of the few cars from an American manufacturer that has managed to climb high in the Top 10 most reliable cars in the world. For the most part, the number of failures is below average, the main problems are related to electronics, lighting fixtures in particular. In addition, more attention should be paid to the suspension struts.

The best cars from the group of 9-11 years old:

  • Mazda 2;
  • Ford Fusion;
  • Toyota Corolla.

Third Toyota generation Corolla Verso living confirmation of the legendary Japanese quality. Excellent results in all categories of technical inspection, even cars with high mileage are demonstrated. The 2.2-liter diesel makes the Corolla Verso one of the most dynamic family compact vans. Frequent malfunctions of a Japanese car are a stretched handbrake cable and fog lamp defects. We hope that the new Toyota models will also meet the high quality standard.

The compact Mazda 2, in production since 2007, immediately set high expectations. Her predecessor was one of best hatchbacks in class. Time has shown that the car retained its quality. Only 16% of 10-year-old cars experience technical inspection difficulties. Basically, the problems are related to the steering rods, and the position of the brake pedal.

Inexpensive reliable car - perhaps?

Some of the most popular most reliable budget cars in Russia, Renault Sandero, Duster and Logan are at the bottom of the list and occupy 121, 123 and 128 places, respectively, in the ranking of 4-5 year old cars. Market bestsellers such as, Hyundai Solaris, Kia Rio and VW Polo Sedan in Germany are not available and TUV has no information on them.

Korean cars, judging by the TUV rating, behave ambiguously in terms of reliability. Among the new cars, the Kia Sportage failed, it is at the very bottom of the list. 12 out of 100 crossovers have malfunctions. 4-5 year old Kia Venga and Hyundai ix20 are at the top of the table, worthy of competing with German manufacturers. Among cars aged 6-7 years, the budget Venga climbed to the seventh line.

It is generally accepted that french stamps, to put it mildly, they do not produce the most reliable cars. Based on TUV research, it can be seen that for the most part, Peugeot, Citroen and Renault show an average result. Cars of these brands are often in the middle of the table or its upper part. Of course, there are also failures. In the list of 4-5 year old cars Peugeot 206 managed to take the last line. It is also noticeable that age cars and older models are less reliable than new ones.

With increasing age, more and more models of Japanese manufacturers fall into the Top 10 most reliable cars. In the ranking of 4-5 year old cars, only Mazda CX-5. In the sample of six- and seven-year-olds, the fourth and fifth places are shared by the Honda CR-V and Mazda 3. The list of 8-9 year old cars includes all the most reliable Japanese cars under the Toyota brand: Auris, Corolla Verso and Yaris. In the oldest segment Japanese manufacturers on top: 6 out of 10 first lines are occupied by cars from China. In second place, behind only the Porsche 911, is the Corolla Verso, followed by the Mazda 2, Toyota Corolla, Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Yaris and RAV4.

most reliable car in the world can rightfully be considered a Porsche 911. In the ranking of 2-3 year old cars, it is in eighth place. But in the list of older cars, he is already on the second. In the age categories from 6 to 11 years old, the Porsche 911 is in the lead with a large gap in the number of breakdowns.
