Although, probably, they were approaching it - on the flaws of the roadway, the interior comes to life with crickets, and at speeds - with vibrations.
The picture is aggravated by the roaring motor and the wind, which constantly forces you to click on the keys of the power windows in the hope of closing the unlocked window once and for all. Realizing that every single glass is raised, I want to ask the rear riders: have they ever traveled? Because the draft in the Haval H9 is about the same as in a car with the top off.
True, to communicate with satellites on the road will turn out only by tearing the vocal cords. However, with a leisurely hobble around the city, it will still be possible to talk: you can even say that for vegetable movements, the sound insulation in the car is simply amazing.
How does the "nine" go? Mediocre! A herd of 218 “horses” (324 Nm) is clearly not enough for a two-ton “rogue” - high-speed overtaking has to be planned in advance, and if you need a sharp start from a place, get ready for the smell of burning and pain in the membranes from the angry roar of the engine.
But after the turbo engine makes the car accelerate, do not forget about early braking - yes, you still need to try to stop this horse at a gallop. And what kind of rolls are there - mom, don’t worry: perhaps, in terms of “turnover”, Haval will only yield.
In general, the “Chinese” is still a mischievous one: the “steering wheel” is not only empty and requires constant steering, it also beats hands when passing any, even the slightest bumps in the roadway. The Asians still have to work and work on the chassis settings.
The test drive of the "heavy man" fell at the beginning of winter, so we were lucky to try it out not only on asphalt and sand dunes, but also in the snow. True, the music did not play for long - alas, it was not possible to get to the snowdrifts: even on conditional off-road all-wheel drive, shod in winter tires, began to dig in and flatly refused to move.
