The Peugeot Partner utility vehicle appeared in 1997. Its uniqueness lay in the fact that, with the dimensions of a golf-class passenger car, it had the carrying capacity of a commercial van, had a spacious five-seat interior and a huge trunk. Structurally, the first generation Partner had a lot in common with the Peugeot 306 model, since both cars were made on the same base. The appearance of a restyled version of the Peugeot Partner in 2002 only strengthened the position of this car in the market. The changes that have taken place cannot be called cardinal. The total volume of the cargo compartment has been increased to 3.3 cubic meters, and the load capacity is up to 850 kg. The manufacturer did not stint on all sorts of storage niches, shelves and pockets in the cab. And the conditionally “off-road” version of Tepee, shod in 215 / 55R16 tires, is called Outdoor and is distinguished by an increased ground clearance of 10 mm and the presence of crankcase protection.
The standard equipment of the model includes anti-lock brakes, emergency braking assistance, two frontal airbags, central locking, power windows and an audio system.
The next restyling of the model was made in 2012. Peugeot Partner 2012 model range combines everything best performance inherent in earlier releases: spaciousness, efficiency, reliability. In addition, the restyled version is distinguished by excellent driving performance, comfortable lounge and interesting recognizable design. The car received a new grille and emblem, front and rear lights, rear-view mirrors and wheel covers. Compared to previous versions, Partner 2012 has grown in length by as much as 240 mm (up to 4380 mm) and has become wider by 80 mm (up to 1810 mm). Wheelbase also increased to 2730 mm.
The cargo compartment has also been enlarged. Luggage compartment volume has grown by 51 liters and starts from 675 liters.
