I noticed that many Gentry owners change from Nexia. I was no exception. Apparently this trend is due to the fact that after Nexia they cease to be afraid of the Deo brand :-) Nexia is still with me, but I will adapt it to work while it is in the parking lot.
Nexia rots, it's inevitable. So mine all started to crumble along the bottom, it was also beaten in the hood, in the fender, in the door ... The engine poisons oil, antifreeze flows somewhere, there are almost no brakes ... But this is Nexia - she drives in any condition, checked for years! It was decided to purchase another car. Considered many options, b / y. I wanted a more spacious car, with air conditioning, pillows, power windows at least. Considered options - Elantra, Octavia - used. They didn’t find anything alive on the used market. Even after one owner cars ushatany in the trash. Then I went to the Ravon salon, by chance, of course. Gentry was brought there in 2014. at a normal discount. After all the negotiations in the family, we decided to take the new Gentra. Why? Here is the answer:
- New car on a guarantee of 3 years, though 2014 onwards;
- Spacious, C-class;
- Normal 6-speed automatic with the ability to manually control gears;
- Disc brakes in a circle;
- Independent rear multi-link suspension;
- All ESP;
- Classic power steering;
- Armrest;
- Cooled "glove box" with illumination;
- Driver's seat with height adjustment in 2 positions (I don't know how to write correctly, there are 2 lamb on the side);
- Soft plastic almost everywhere;

- Price 499 tr. for all this good :)

Offhand, that for 499 tr. close to these characteristics? Nifiga.

What was not in this configuration: ABS (I don’t suffer from lack at all), seat warmer (can be delivered if necessary), radio tape recorder (wretched factory, so I would change it anyway), sunroof (what the heck is needed in Russia), plastic under wood (....).

About the shortcomings that were identified and partially eliminated: Springs jumped out in the back of the driver's seat (removed under warranty), shitty door adjustment (removed under warranty), air conditioning was not filled after the cabin (removed under warranty), the mirror on the driver's side came loose (removed under warranty). warranty), the DRL lamp burned out (closer to 11,000 km, replacement - 25 rubles lamp, 80 work), crooked wiper holder on the passenger side (replaced under warranty). In my instance on windshield slight distortion - not a warranty case. Not annoying, because not at eye level, but still. Some kind of quiet howling at the beginning of the movement of roofing felts from the box, or from something else, I don’t know how to accurately describe it. Dealer said everything is fine, so I don't know. Doesn't bother at all. There is no BC, but I do not suffer, I have never had it)

I haven’t finished anything in the car yet, but what do I want: alarm with a / z, noise of arches, crankcase protection, anti-corrosion treatment, seat covers, 2-din android car radio with a rear view camera (who will recommend what)?

I installed the trunk on top, it is necessary for work. It looks quite harmonious in my opinion (the wife categorically rejects the whole body)))

The behavior of the car is quite predictable, but on the highway over 120 km / h the car starts to scour a little, especially with a strong side wind. Rear suspension a bit stiff in feel. There is a mini-glove box to the left of the driver, there are niches in the doors, which is convenient.

There were no mistakes on my part:
1) a little "shuttered" the rear fender and the door (the officials said it would cost polishing)
2) The bumper is also slightly "scrambled" (a little bit of plastic is pokotsan), there for painting.

Moreover, it is specified in the same place that the cars come with a guarantee of three per body, the manufacturer undertakes to produce free repair work body elements that were damaged due to corrosion within 3 years, however, with the proviso that the car was used in normal conditions, as well as regular checks and maintenance were carried out in deadlines from the service book. If, in the service book, all the work has documentary evidence, but nevertheless corrosion appeared due to manufacturing defects, and it began precisely under the paintwork layer, which subsequently led to through damage.

Outcome. As you can see, the manufacturer is aware of the problems of past generations of cars. And he took all the necessary steps to improve the anti-corrosion properties of body parts. Expert commentary. As for the catopheresis coating, this technology has long been used abroad and relatively recently in the domestic auto industry, in particular on the Lada Grant and Kalina.

Catopheresis is an electrolytic reaction accompanied by physical and chemical processes. In this case, the body part is immersed in the container, connecting the anode to the part, and the cathode to the walls of the container. In the process of electrolysis, a special primer is deposited on the parts and it is fixed.

The procedure for implementing catopheresis technology is as follows:

  • first, the surface of body parts is cleaned from oxides;
  • remove fatty contaminants;
  • metal surfaces are activated;
  • immersion is carried out in a container where catopheresis occurs;
  • body parts are rinsed after catopheresis;
  • drying is carried out in special thermal chambers.

After that, the body parts are subjected to the application of the remaining layers of the coating.
