Daewoo Nexia do not work. Daewoo Nexia turn signals not working

Daewoo Nexia- the car is popular, and, to some extent, legendary for the Russian motorist. And the point is just the price, and the fact that for relatively little money you can buy a car, the characteristics of which are not too inferior to the average foreign car. And certainly certainly much better than some modern VAZs.

However, not the highest price also makes itself felt, primarily expressed in the "stuffing" and the reliability of some of the details. Therefore, before making such a purchase, it is necessary to carefully study all the shortcomings of the Daewoo Nexia, and determine whether everything is worth possible breakdowns in order to have a comfortable and powerful enough (for the city) car.

Weaknesses of Daewoo Nexia:

  • Various sensors that, after several years of operation, may not show accurate information, or stop showing it at all;
  • High wear of shock absorbers, which are completely unsuitable for our roads;
  • A silencer that has a simply phenomenally poor service life;
  • The gearbox, although this is a problem for many cars, but on the Nexia it should be monitored already at a run of 150,000 kilometers.
  • Turn signal toggle switches that just break, suddenly, for no particular reason;
  • Corrosion, which, as already mentioned, can naturally "eat" your car if you do not look after it.

Perhaps one of the most important drawbacks of Daewoo Nexia is that it does not live up to expectations. The car looks very solid, which captivates inexperienced owners, and in the future they are simply disappointed. After all, they expect some kind of premium car, but in reality it turns out only good foreign car the last decade.

metal quality

One of the most weaknesses Daewoo Nexia can be called the quality of the metal, which should definitely be better. For this reason, even new car should be carefully treated with various compounds that are designed to help in the fight against corrosion. This is especially true in big cities where the roads are sprinkled with various harmful compounds.

You should also keep an eye on various electrical appliances. In these cars, the rapid wear of wires is very highly developed, and they can withstand various external influences very poorly. Even components such as, for example, the ignition switch, can fail due to external factors. And, by the way, severe Russian frosts and the same powder on the road also have a very negative effect on all this. And more “open” details, such as a clutch, can make you a frequent visitor to the service station, because such a breakdown can hardly be called petty, and this repair will be needed immediately.

Chassis

I would like to highlight shock absorbers as a separate point, as a sore spot for Daewoo Nexia. The fact is that although the car was created mainly for bad Russian roads, it is difficult to call it reliable in this regard. For this reason, the suspension, shock absorbers, and all other components of this plan fail very quickly, letting the driver down at the most unexpected moment. In particular, factory springs begin to “crumble” after 50,000-60,000 kilometers, and if you miss this moment and do not repair, then further damage will be much more difficult and costly.

Rust and paint problems

When buying a Daewoo Nexia, special attention should be paid to the body. Because he is not capable of fighting the salt that is showered on the road. And problems begin even with paint, after several years of operation. Surprisingly, when choosing a car, there is an opportunity to protect yourself, and in a very unusual way - you need to choose a metallic color. Apparently, due to the characteristics of the paint, it is able to withstand much more than other types of color.

Disadvantages of Daewoo Nexia:

  • door locks;
  • electrical appliances;
  • Fog lights;
  • Equipment.

Door locks

In addition to problems with paint, you should prepare for the fact that you will be “tormented” by the wear of the door lock larvae, up to their complete failure. This will be especially felt on the trunk lock.

Yes and windshield it is difficult to call it reliable, small stones from under the wheels of oncoming cars in three or four years will give it a not quite marketable appearance, and may even affect the view in the car.

Complicated electrical

The electrics in the car, although working properly, but not for long. This is especially true of the instrument panel, which can simply fail at one moment due to a broken wire.

And in general, all elements of the car that use electricity quickly fail, including such key ones as a generator or starter. And to stay with the window open, simply because the motor is not able to lift it back - can also be very disappointing.

Fog lights

I would like to make a separate point fog lights, which experts generally advise not to include in dampness - they simply burst from the unexpected ingress of cold water. A little strange, considering that the fog appears just in wet weather.

Ease of assembly

Special attention certainly requires the choice of equipment for this car. And if the characteristic does not change too much, then the variety of options is amazing.

In the cheapest configuration, the car will be equipped only with a radio and alarm. None of the features that are now standard, such as electric lifts, power steering or air conditioning, are here. Even the tachometer will be missing. Although, as more expensive "stuffing" they will still appear in the car.

Thus, the most maximum equipment will have all the "goodies" of a good foreign car - electric windows for all windows, air conditioning, heated seats, power steering, fog lights, and much more. Of course, you will have to pay extra for all this, and not the smallest amount.

On the other hand, if you look at the "rivals" of Nexia, and most often they put domestic VAZ- it generally lacks some functions, even in expensive trim levels. Yes, and to buy a car with a set of options, or not - it's everyone's decision.

Auto assembly can be completed:

  1. in Korea, at the car's home factory. And although cars have been fussing from there for a long time, they began to gain popularity only after the price of a car fell sharply. The reason was not a change in characteristics, or something else, but that the cars were dismantled at the border, and then dismantled already on the territory of Russia. Thus, it was possible to save on duty, and as a result, reduce the final price.
  2. in Rostov, at the Krasny Aksai plant. And although it is customary to think that cars assembled in Russia suffer in terms of quality, this is clearly not the case. The peculiarity is that such cars are assembled completely with the help of parts sent from Korea. So, the quality is the same.
  3. Another assembly option is in Uzbekistan. And surprisingly, it is here that the best quality cars are assembled, at the same time, cheaper in price. The secret lies in the fact that many parts are produced in the same place, and the assembly is used mass production, not "screwdriver assembly". Although, the old generation of cars assembled there may indeed be of lower quality, possessing, as auto mechanics put it, "childhood diseases."

It is quite easy to determine the place where your car was assembled specifically - using the VIN code that is on any car, as well as additional notes. For Rostov cars, this is the "Plant" Red Aksai"", and for Uzbekistan - the inscription " ULV» in the vehicle's VIN.

Conclusion.

To summarize, then, despite all the pros and cons, we can safely say that it makes sense to buy such a car.

One of the key features of a car when buying is a fairly high-quality assembly for a cheap price. There are simply no alternatives to the car among the new ones, not counting the VAZ, but it is he who loses to Daewoo Nexia in all respects. But, just like with VAZs, you need to be prepared for periodic repairs and replacement of parts. On the other hand, if you use high-quality parts, then repeated breakdowns will not appear soon.

The parts themselves are very cheap, and finding them will not be a problem, because most of them are made in Russia, and thanks to the popularity of the car, key “consumables” will always be available in car dealerships and service stations.

So, if you are ready for the fact that the car will need to be monitored and sometimes repaired, and the vulnerable sides do not scare you - choose Daewoo Nexia and enjoy ownership. Moreover, there really is something to choose from, thanks to a large number of very different trim levels.

P.S.: Dear car owners, if you have noticed systematic breakdowns of any parts, assemblies of this model, please report it in the comments below.

Nexia- one of the most common and affordable cars brands Daewoo. Good dynamic qualities for this class of car, simple maintenance and relatively low price on new and used models have done their job. Now there are a lot of them on the roads. Nexias are used mainly as taxis, as well as rented and personal cars.

The Uzbek assembly of electrical components in many models is not as reliable as we would like. Many devices often fail, in particular Daewoo Nexiaa fuses and relays, and the contact group at the ignition switch is the “sore” place of the car.

If an electrical appliance fails, check its fuse first. It is not enough to visually inspect it, the gap may be invisible to the eye. Well, if you have a tester at hand. If there is no tester, instead of checking the fuse, you can immediately replace it with a known good one. Therefore, always carry a set of new backup fuses with you. This will save your nerves and time in many cases.

Finding a blown fuse, do not rush to change it. Otherwise, the new fuse may also fail. Find out what caused it to burn out. Make sure that there is no short circuit in the circuit it protects, as well as the integrity of all wires. It happens that one of the wires is bent or pinched and begins to close on occasion to the car body.

Always try to complete the work with the electrician to the end, check as many causes of failure as possible, otherwise any short circuit can cause a fire or an accident. If you have a diagram of the car at hand, use it if you can. If there is no repair experience and knowledge, it is better to contact any electrician in a car service.

AT Daewoo models Nexia until 2008 mounting block designated N100, in models after 2008 - N150. The numbering and purpose in both Daewoo Nexia fuse and relay boxes are the same.

Cabin mounting block

The mounting block in the Nexia's cabin is located to the left of the steering wheel at the bottom of the dashboard, under the trunk and gas tank opening buttons. To get to it, you need to open the lid. It has fuses and relays on both sides - on the front side facing the driver and on the bottom side facing the pedals. To change the relay and one of the two fuses on the bottom side, you may need to remove the entire mounting block or turn it.

Fuses in the cabin mounting block

F1 (10 A) - electronic engine control unit (ECU).

F2 (10 A) - parking lights.
If the dimensions do not work for you, check the light and turn signal switch knob, it could fail or the contacts / wires at its base could be damaged. The price of a new light switch is about 700-1000 rubles. Also check the contacts of this fuse, it happens that they burn, clean them and achieve good fuse contact in the socket. The reason may also be in relay M and its contacts. It is also possible that the tracks in the mounting block burned out.

If the fuse blows very often, then there is a short circuit somewhere. Check the connectors in each headlight, as well as the wires, especially those that go in harnesses along the bottom of the car. They could be crushed or broken. General scheme wiring and connectors at the end of this article. Don't forget to check the bulbs themselves parking lights, it happens that they burn out all at the same time or one after another.

F3 - reserve.

F4 (20 A) - high beam headlights.
To turn on the high beam, you need to move the left handle under the steering wheel to the position farthest from you. To blink, pull towards you.
If your high beam does not work, check the serviceability of the lamps (both could have burned out at once), the serviceability of the L, H relays and their contacts, the contacts in the fuse socket. The steering column switch can also be one of the reasons. If the above is correct, it is most likely a wiring or contact in the headlight connectors.

F5 (10 A) - dipped beam, electric corrector of the left headlight.
F6 (10 A) - dipped beam, electric corrector of the right headlight.
If the high beam works, but the low beam does not, most likely it is the light switch under the steering wheel, check its contacts and wires, the strength of the connectors. You can remove the switch, carefully disassemble it and check the plates for a short circuit, as well as the plastic switch, whether it reliably opens the contacts. Do not forget to check the serviceability of the lamps in the headlights, even if both dipped headlights do not work, as well as the contacts in the connectors and wires. The reason for the lack of light may also be in the contact group of the ignition switch. If you do not understand the electrician, it is better to contact the service.

F7 (30 A) - fuel pump, fuel injectors.

If the fuel pump stops working, check the contacts in the fuse box, as well as relay C and its contacts. If they are oxidized or there are signs of burning, replace the relay. There may be no contact in the ignition switch or contact group. If there are interruptions in the operation of the fuel pump, the engine either starts, then it does not, most likely a relay, or it may be a matter of fuel filter to be replaced.

At low temperatures and their differences, a condensate evaporator can help, which is poured into the tank along with gasoline. Also due to low-quality gasoline the pump itself may be damaged. You can check it by applying a voltage of 12 V directly to it, or by connecting a hose lowered into the container instead of the fuel line.

The fuel pump may also not work due to wiring in the cabin below to the left of the driver, near the left front fender. To get to the wires, you need to remove the casing to the left of the clutch pedal. Having seen the connector block, check all the wires and connections coming from it. The yellow-brown or white-brown wire is responsible for the operation of the fuel pump. Also check that the wires are not interrupted by possible self-tapping screws screwed into the body.

If none of the above helped and an unloading relay is installed in the contact group of the ignition switch, check it and replace it if necessary.

F8 (20 A) - turn signals, alarms, brake lights.
If the direction indicators stop working, the first thing to check is this fuse and relay-breaker A, as well as its contacts. If the turn signals work intermittently, the problem is most likely in the same relay A, in the wiring or in a short circuit in the turn signal connectors. If neither the turn signals nor the control lamps on the dashboard work when the direction indicators are turned on, the matter is most likely in the steering column switch, its contacts or relay.

If the “emergency gang” does not work, most likely it is also in the relay, in the button itself and its contacts, or the wiring from the button to the fuse / relay.
Don't forget to check the turn signal bulbs themselves as well.

F9 (30 A) - wiper, washer.

If the wipers do not work, look at relay F and its contacts. Check if the gearmotor itself is working by applying a voltage of 12 V to it, if the nuts on the shafts of the cleaner holders are tightly tightened, if the trapezoid mechanism is working. Check the serviceability of the right steering column switch, contacts and wires in its connector. Another reason for the incorrect operation of the cleaner motor may be in poor contact to ground. Try directly connecting the car body with the motor body with a wire and check its operation.

If the temperature is low outside, check if the mechanism of the cleaners is frozen, especially the shafts with nuts, if necessary, clean them from ice and moisture.

F10 (10 A) - electric drive for locking the gas tank cap.

F11 (10 A) - air conditioning compressor relay.
In order for the air conditioner to work properly after winter, in winter it is recommended to turn it on from time to time in a warm place (garage, box, car wash) so that the sealing joints are lubricated. Otherwise, they will have to be changed in the spring. At low temperatures, the air conditioner will not turn on due to lack of pressure.
If the air conditioner stops working, check relay J in addition to this fuse. It is possible that freon has run out in the system. You can check by unscrewing the cap on the side of the receiver, located near the battery. By pressing the valve, the freon should hiss out of the hole, which means there is pressure and gas.

If there is no pressure, check the pressure sensor mounted on the tube near air filter. When the contacts in the two-pin connector of the pressure sensor are closed, the air conditioner should turn on. Fill the system with freon, after checking the system for leaks. Leaks can be in the connections, pipes and radiator of the air conditioner.

The case may also be in the clutch, which should move when the air conditioner is turned on (a click will be heard), if it does not work, check its connector, you can also check it by applying a voltage of 12 V to it, access to the contacts is only from below, it is most convenient to get from the inspection room pits. The compressor may also be faulty or its belt break, check for the presence of a whole and tensioned lower belt in the front of the engine (under the upper alternator belt).

If the air from the air conditioning system enters the passenger compartment poorly or not cold enough, check cabin filter and replace it. The evaporator could also be clogged, check and clean it.

F12 (30 A) - low speed radiator cooling fan.
If the fan only runs at high speed, check this fuse, the contacts in its socket, and relays B and K.

F13 (20 A) - dashboard, clock, cigarette lighter, buzzer, lamps reversing, generator, heating rear window.

F14 (30 A) - beep, high speed radiator cooling fan.

If the sound signal does not work, check the fuse and contacts in its socket, as well as relay I. If the frequency of the signal has changed or the signal has disappeared altogether, it is most likely the wiring to one of the horns. 2 signals - 2 tones. Check the contacts and wires at the horns by removing the grille, they usually rot due to moisture. Also check the steering column contact of the horn button and its mechanism.

If on high temperatures the radiator fan has stopped turning on, check the condition of relays B, E, K and their contacts. Check the fan sensor, disconnect the contacts from it and close them, the fan should turn on. Or apply 12 V voltage directly to the fan connector, thereby checking the serviceability of its electric motor, check this connector for connecting wires to the fan for contact oxidation.

If the fan motor is running, it could be the fuse and relay, wiring, thermostat, and coolant temperature sensor. If you check the wiring, from the temperature sensor to the computer, from the computer to the relay.

F15 (20 A) - interior light, trunk light, antenna motor.
If the light in the ceiling near the rearview mirror does not work only in the “Auto” position, check the limit switches in the doors and wiring, as well as the light switch itself. The wiring from the limit switches is connected to a harness in the driver's door sill or under the driver's seat, check the integrity of all wires.

If the light does not work in any of the modes, check the serviceability of the lamp and the switch in the ceiling.
If the light in the trunk does not work, check the lamp on the left side of the trunk, the lamp contacts and wiring.

F16 (30 A) - power windows.

If your power windows have stopped working, it's most likely a wiring issue. Check the wires going to the doors to see if they are broken at the fold (in the corrugated rubber bands), a standard disease of many Nexia models. Also check the performance of the motors by applying a voltage of 12 V to them and the condition of the brushes in them. If one power window does not work, it may also be in the door wiring or in the power window control button, check its contacts and serviceability.

Also check the mechanism itself in the door for defects and jamming, the condition of the gear and cable. The reason may be in the driver's power window control unit. Check it for a short circuit.
If the glass began to warp, which is why the power window cannot cope with it, try to completely lower the glass and lubricate the rubber sealing strips with WD-40 fluid or silicone.

F17 (10 A) - radio power supply from the ignition switch.

Usually the radio is connected in such a way that it only works when the ignition is on. If you want the radio to work constantly, find the place of its connection in the contact group of the ignition switch and connect it to a constant 12 V power supply through a fuse. If the radio has stopped working, check the ignition switch, the contacts in it, the contact group and the wiring.

F18 (30 A) - powering the radio from the battery, rear window heating, electric trunk lock, central locking.

Rear window heating in Nexia is automatically turned off. If it does not work for you, check this fuse, F13 and the contacts in their sockets, as well as relay G and its contacts. The heating timer relay can be installed not in the mounting block, but under dashboard, just above the pedal unit. Also check the button itself and its contacts. The reason may be in the wiring from the button to the rear window, it could be transferred to the bottom of the car. Check heating element terminals rear pillars along the edges of the glass and the absence of thread breaks on the glass. If a break is found, seal it with special glue containing metal.

If the central lock does not work and some door does not close, remove the trim from it and check the correct operation of the lock drive and the serviceability of the thrust. If the lock is 5-pin, check the health of all its contacts and wiring. Also check the wires in the corrugation at the bend when opening the door. The case may also be in the central locking relay, which is located behind electronic unit control (ECU), on the passenger side of the center console.

F19 - reserve.

F20 (30 A) - air conditioning fan.

F21 (30 A) - fog lights.
If the fog lights stop burning, check the fuse, the contacts of its socket, the serviceability of the lamps in the headlights, the power button in the cabin, the wiring, relay D and its contacts.

Wiring diagrams

From the following wiring diagram, you can determine the location of connectors and contacts to ground, which can cause interruptions in the operation of devices when they are loosened.

Electrical connectors are marked in yellow and begin with the letter X.
Ground wires, contacts to body ground are marked with blue dots, numbered.

Ground contacts

1 - in the central part of the steering column
2 - near the battery
3 - not used
4 - on the top of the engine block
5 - in the trunk
6 - under the driver's seat
B - direct contact of the assembly body with the car body.

3.4. Interruptions in the engine

In case of interruptions, the engine runs unevenly for Idling, does not develop sufficient power, consumes increased gasoline. Interruptions, as a rule, are due to a malfunction of the injectors or the electric fuel pump, see more details. « Electronic system engine management (fuel injection system)", malfunction of the spark plug of one of the cylinders, air leakage into one of the cylinders. You need to find the problem and fix it if possible.

1. Start the engine and let it idle. Go to the exhaust pipe and listen to the sound of the exhaust. The sound should be smooth, "soft", one tone. Clap out exhaust pipe at regular intervals indicate that one cylinder is not working due to the failure of the candle, the absence of a spark on it, the failure of the injector, a strong air leak into one cylinder or a significant decrease in compression in it. Popping at irregular intervals is due to dirty injector nozzles, heavy wear or dirty spark plugs. If pops occur at irregular intervals, you can try to replace the entire set of candles yourself, regardless of mileage and appearance, but it is better to do this after contacting a car service to diagnose and repair the engine control system.

2. If the pops are regular, stop the engine and open the hood. Check the condition of the ignition wires. The insulation of high voltage wires must not be damaged, and wire lugs must not be oxidized. If damage is found, replace the defective wire.

3. Remove the tips of high-voltage wires and turn out the candles with a candle wrench.

4. Carefully inspect the candles and compare their appearance with the photographs below (see photo). "Diagnostics of the state of the engine by appearance spark plugs"). The gap between the electrodes of the spark plug should be 0.70–0.85 mm. If the candle is black and damp, it can be discarded.

5. If all the spark plugs look good, reinstall them and reconnect the high voltage wires. The order of operation of cylinders 1–3–4–2, the numbering of cylinders (1, 2, 3, 4th) is from the pulley crankshaft engine.

6. Get a spare spark plug. Fix it to the engine in any way.

Reliable contact of the body or threaded part of the candle with the "mass" is optional, but desirable. Connect high voltage wire from cylinder 1 to the spare spark plug. Start the engine. If engine interruptions do not increase, replace the spark plug in the 1st cylinder with a known good one. Put on the high voltage wire and start the engine. If interruptions intensify, repeat this procedure sequentially with all cylinders to identify a faulty spark plug.

7. If, as a result of the measures taken, engine interruptions have not been eliminated, contact a car service for diagnosing the ignition system at the stand or for diagnosing the engine - measuring compression. Normal compression is more than 1.1 MPa (11 kgf / cm 2), a difference of more than 0.1 MPa (1 kgf / cm 2) in one cylinder indicates the need for engine repair.

Daewoo Nexia GNJ › Logbook › The 4th speed of the stove fan stopped working

The 4th speed of the stove fan has stopped working, and there is some kind of click in the left side when it is turned on, can the fuse help? where to look, or tell me what could be the problem)

Daewoo Nexia 2013, 109 l. with. - self-repair

13

The fourth speed is connected through a relay, apparently the relay is activated, but the contacts do not converge. Try swapping with any working relay, it will become clear that the relay is not working or something else.

Good luck on the roads!

Already done a long time ago) the fuse went off

where is this fuse?) does it go separately to 4th speed? I have the same problem

Look here, it shows where the 4 speed fuse is located!

There is a separate relay for 4th gear.

Thank you for your advice)

that's why I talked about my own manual specialist from the service. boy tested by me and now for several years I trust the machine only to him. and both the receiver and the service director know this. I just took out their brains at one time, and in their own language (in Uzbek). The fact is that I am from Uzbekistan, I grew up there, got an education, and therefore there are no problems with the Uzbek language. Here is how I plugged them in.

Daewoo Nexia oven does not work, the fan does not turn

one of the reasons why does not work not one speed stoves vk page add))

The Daewoo Nexia stove does not work.

Why in Daewoo Nexia oven not working. Auto.

do not be lazy, drive to the service. Let them take a look and do it under warranty. I didn't have that.

my advice to you, stop by the service early, for hours at 6-30 in the morning and take a turn to the receptionist for the service, because. there are a lot of cars coming there, because this is the only service in Almaty. The work of changing the oil and all that will not take long. more time is spent on the buildup of individuals from the service. by the way, they like to play football, using the owner of the car instead of the ball. go there, call someone, buy it... just a little patience and everything will be fine. but in general, it’s better to skant with someone there and you will have a master practically your own - manual))))) I personally have one. I still drive to see him in my sister's car. She has a matizik

Yes, that’s just the time for the first Maintenance Service is just right for one thing and I’ll say what they would do, but how much will they generally change the oil? Should you leave your car there? or you can wait

When you bring a car to them on T.O., then my advice to you is to stay there and see how they will do it to you. It's only there for about an hour! I always look after them in the service, they can not be trusted, my sincere advice to you!

Direction indicators for passenger car Daewoo Nexia, like on others Vehicle ah, perform important role in traffic safety. After all, if they do not work, then the implementation of various maneuvers on the carriageway will be unexpected for other road users. Of course, according to the rules traffic, you can give signals about turns with your hand, but will all our drivers understand them, since even in driving schools these actions are not practiced on training cars.

The electrical circuit of the Daewoo Nexia direction indicators includes: lamps on the right and left sides of the car; a relay that also works for an alarm; Understeering's shifter; twenty amp F8 fuse and wires connecting these devices.

Most often, in this wiring diagram on the Daewoo car Nexia, the three output relay of the direction indicators fails, which is marked as follows: 96312545U. You will be warned that it is out of order. control lamp direction indicators on the instrument panel, and its clicking will not be heard, since it is located in the cabin in the mounting block (upper on the left side), located on the front panel in the area where your left knee is located.

In this case, the direction indicator lamps will simply burn without blinking. Usually, the relay, before finally failing, starts to work with arrhythmia, then turns on for a couple of seconds, then turns off and the driver has to turn the steering switch to the neutral position several times during the maneuver, and then turn on the direction indicators again.

As soon as such arrhythmia has begun, the relay must be replaced. The standard relay is quite expensive, even more expensive than a similar relay from BOSCH, so for those drivers who are tight on money, we can advise you to purchase a relay manufactured by the Korean company POMAX, it is more than half the price of a standard one. You can also try to put a three-output relay from the domestic "eight", in which the landing dimensions are also the same as the standard relay.

If the yellow fuse F8 (20A), which is the second from the left in the middle row of the mounting block, blows out, not only the direction indicator lamps, but also the stop lamps will not light. And this means that when braking, there will be nothing to warn drivers behind moving vehicles. If your Daewoo Nexia has an anti-lock braking system (ABS) installed on your car, it will not work either. This is due to the fact that they all receive power through the F8 fuse.
