An autopsy showed that she cut off the studs that secure the spacer. It's a miracle that this happened not on a 500-kilometer haul from Moscow at a speed of 90 km / h, but here.
From an excuse - they found out that it was this wheel that was removed before the trip and, apparently, the studs were not screwed in.

But after that, I completely stopped respecting the spacers. Unnecessary and dangerous thing.
The pins have been replaced.

But, then, they controlled the condition of the studs and spacers - everything was fine, there was no urge to unscrew it.

Of the minuses - cut the wheel. Where this happened is unclear. Found out after the end of the IF.

But BALU has always been in the spotlight.

To summarize: the project is very interesting, this type of wheels has its pros and cons.

Pros: the rubber is soft, flattens well, allows you to reduce the pressure to 0.15 kg / cm3 and not be disassembled. On the highway goes quietly 90km / h, while the car keeps on the road confidently. However, there is vibration and rumble from the tread, which can be reduced to some extent by "playing" with the tire pressure.
Works well on weakly bearing but unbroken soils.

Cons: noisy on the track, afraid of cuts, with strong shock loads, the inner spacer ring may break and the tire will begin to “poison” along the rim. Installation requires refinement of the suspension and the car (lift, cutting arches, spacers). It is desirable to install more powerful GPU. Due to the large track width, the vehicle does not fall into the standard track and moves with a load on either side, while the risk of breaking the spacer ring increases.
