Mitsubishi Lancer configuration 9. Mitsubishi Lancer: a reliable friend

Mitsubishi Lancer 9- a popular Japanese sedan, which was produced from 2003 to 2008. This car has won millions of hearts of motorists around the world. The victories of the restyled versions of Evolution only fueled interest. Many people get confused about the models of the Japanese automaker. The fact is that there are simple Lancers, and there are their sports modifications Evolution, which were produced for each generation of standard cars. Let's take a closer look at the Lancer 9 in our review.

The Mitsubishi Lancer 9 is a legendary car with a long history that just needs to be mentioned. This car was sold in different countries, in different years, and therefore, there are discrepancies in the years of release of some generations of the car. Why, even in eminent publications there is unreliable information.

First Mitsubishi Lancer (1973 - 1979)

It was released in February 1973. The model was produced in sedan and station wagon bodies. It was completed with engines of 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6 liters. This car has developed a very successful sports career. The car has won the Safari Rally twice and the Southern Cross Rally four times. The geography of sales is simply amazing, the car was sold in Europe (as Colt Lancer), USA (sold from 1973 - 1979 as Dodge Colt), Latin America (as Dodge Lancer) and Australia (as Chrysler Lancer 1974 - 1979). In 1975, the model got another body - a coupe, which was called the Mitsubishi Lancer Celeste.

Second generation Mitsubishi Lancer (1979 - 1987)

It was presented with only three different engines. But at the same time, a new technology was used proprietary technology Mitsubishi's Silent Shaft Technology (Translated into Russian: "silent shaft technology") This technology made it possible to fulfill all the environmental standards of that time. Also, this technology has significantly reduced the level of vibration and noise. This system also helped to save fuel.

Third generation (1982- 1988)

It brought positive design changes, such as injector and turbocharging. In 1985, the company released a station wagon modification. This car became a stepping stone for the development and improvement of other cars. On the basis of this car, the Saga of the Proton brand was built, which was produced until the beginning of 2008.

Fourth generation (1983 -1991)

Acquired more aerodynamic and sporty features. In addition, only three body styles remained in this generation - 3 and 5-door sedan and hatchback.

Fifth generation (1991 - 1995)

In total, the 5th generation had three different bodies: sedan, hatchback and station wagon. The car was equipped with 10 different power units and three different gearboxes! The car was built on a proprietary platform "CB2A-CB4A-CD9A". In 1993, the Lancer Evolution appears, with a V6 engine, which was borrowed from the Galant RL-4 rally.

Sixth generation (1996 - 2000)

Initially intended only for residents of Latin America and Asia. This vehicle has not passed European safety standards. A series of crash tests EuroNCAP showed that the car is not fit for life. But despite this, the car was more than commercially successful.

Seventh generation (1996 -2000)

In this generation, the driver's airbag began to be included in the car, but the passenger's airbag was offered only for a surcharge.

Eighth generation (2000 - 2007)

Mitsubishi Lancer Cedia. Produced for Asian markets.

Ninth generation (2003 - 2007)

Our car belongs to this generation. By the way, the car does not differ much from Cedia. The car is assembled on the platform CS2A-CS5W. Car sales in Russia began in 2004.

At the moment, Mitsubishi Lancer 10 is already in production. Production started in 2007.

Body

When looking at this car, it is difficult to single out any striking features. The car does not look defiant, you cannot call it a youth car, it does not stand out. Restrained, straight lines of the body, neat slanting headlights. This is a car that suits everyone. Moreover, the appearance of the 9th generation is practically no different from the 8th generation car.

The bumper has changed a little - it has become more streamlined, rounded. The radiator grille has changed its pattern, diamonds have appeared instead of lines. That's probably all the changes.

The design of this car was developed under the direction of Olivier Boulet. The car has become lighter by 60 kg, due to the roof, hood and doors.

  • Clearance — 165 mm on our roads is a plus.
  • The length of the car is 4535 mm, with a height of 1445 mm.

A carbon fiber spoiler is installed on the rear of the car. The need to install this element is due to the redistribution of the mass of the car in the ratio of 40% to the rear axle and 60% to the front axle of the car.

This ratio would not allow the rear wheels to touch the ground at high speed. The spoiler compensates for the lack of downforce on the rear axle of the car.

The wheels organically fit into the overall style of the car. The tire size is set by the manufacturer to 195/60 R15.

Salon

In the interior (as well as in the exterior), the Japanese are conservative. At the driver's workplace, everything remained in its place. Adjustments of the driver's seat allow you to comfortably accommodate the driver of any height. At the same time, I would like to note the simplicity of the adjustments themselves, everything is in its place.

Plastic elements look expensive and pleasant to the touch. The control panel is simple and informative. The seats are comfortable and have good lateral fixation, they have a heating function.

The interior is equipped with two airbags. There are also power windows and mirrors. The car has a decent audio system with 4 speakers.

The salon itself is very roomy! The car can comfortably fit 5 people.

The trunk is roomy, its volume is 590 liters, but its volume can be increased by folding the rear seats.

Many owners of such a car spoke in favor of a thicker steering wheel.

The steering is equipped with hydraulic booster, which makes driving easier and more enjoyable. There is also a steering column adjustment for reach and height. The salon is equipped with climate control.

The basic equipment of the car includes the ABS system and EBD (brake force distribution system).

Engine

For the European market Mitsubishi Lancer 9 was supplied with only three petrol engines with a volume of 1.3, 1.6 and 2.0 liters. The most popular was the 1.6 engine with 98 horsepower.

Acceleration to hundreds is 11.8 seconds, provided that the engine is equipped with a manual transmission. If the engine is equipped with automatic transmission, acceleration is 13.6 seconds. One of the most common faults is revving.

Transmission

This vehicle is equipped with a manual transmission. In general, the box makes a very good impression.

If you decide to move on a long journey, then this car will not disappoint you. Obedient in management and economical. The only negative impression is that the driver's right leg is in constant tension.

The soundproofing of the cabin is more than decent, on the way you will not raise your voice to talk to your passenger. Smooth ride, even lulls on the road.

Illumination of control devices is soft and does not irritate the eyes.

Checking a car in a car service

To check the car, we went to a car service that repairs engines, suspensions, gearboxes, and also provides high-quality bodywork and painting services. Our test Mitsubishi Lancer 9 has undergone a thorough check of its technical condition.

Based on the results of the inspection, a lot of suspension faults were found, namely:

  • support bearings for replacement;
  • steering rack boot - replacement;
  • caliper guides - replacement;
  • Brake pads need to be replaced as a complete set.

Electronic diagnostics showed only one error - a malfunction of the lambda probe.

The most serious malfunction at the time of inspection was a crankshaft oil seal leak.

Summing up

On our ten-point rating scale of test cars, we gave the Lancer 9 points! First of all, this is due to such a criterion as price-quality. Japanese sedan is worth the money. Of the minuses - mediocre sound insulation, boring interior design and simple, not expressive appearance. The rest of the car pleased us! We can safely say that this is a very reliable car and with proper maintenance it will serve you for many years. A real workhorse. The most common fault in this car is the suspension, which requires timely maintenance. Internal combustion engines in a car are reliable and calmly nurse their resource without additional adventures. The car is quite common in our city, has high liquidity and is easily sold.

In general, the Lancer is a reliable and interesting car. It is not so difficult to find copies in good technical condition, even with decent mileage. But you should not consider cars more expensive than 400,000 rubles, because within half a million you can buy cars of a higher class, such as Ford Mondeo or Mazda 6.

The production of the 9th generation Mitsubishi Lancer car was carried out during 2003-2008. The car is still very popular. What is the secret to the success of this sedan? In our Mitsubishi Lancer 9 review, you will learn all the details about this model and be able to draw the appropriate conclusions.

It should be noted that confusion often arises due to the fact that Mitsubishi produces both regular versions of the Lancer model and modifications that have the Evolution prefix in their names. It is used to designate sports options for cars. Our article will talk about the base Mitsubishi Lancer 9.

Appearance Mitsubishi Lancer 9

The exterior of the car cannot boast of having any unique solutions. But, unlike its predecessor, the sedan looks more modern and stylish. True, against the background of the Mitsubishi Lancer X, the participant in our review looks simply ridiculous. The usual Mitsubishi Lancer 9, compared to the sports version of this model, looks very simple. However, appearance is not the most important thing for a car.

The front of the sedan is made quite standard: the lighting is designed in the style of domestic or Chinese cars - too simple, given modern design requirements. Behind the optics turned out to be more interesting, although there are no innovations. Wheels are in harmony with the design of the entire appearance of the car.

Since the development of the exterior design of the Mitsubishi Lancer 9 was carried out more than 10 years ago, it is difficult to adequately assess the quality of work. If we take into account the appearance of the rest of the representatives of this class, released in the same years, our Lancer 9 does not stand out in any way, but does not lag behind them either. The appearance of the car cannot be called terrible, but there are no exclusive elements in it either. It's good that the company's designers solved this problem in a timely manner, which is immediately noticeable if you compare the ninth generation Lancer with its successor.

Dimensions Mitsubishi Lancer 9 are as follows:

  • Length - 4535 mm.
  • Width - 1715 mm.
  • Height - 1445 mm.

Ground clearance Mitsubishi Lancer 9 is 165 mm.

Interior overview Mitsubishi Lancer 9th generation

The interior of the Japanese sedan is quite neat, but too rustic. Feedback from Mitsubishi Lancer 9 owners indicates that the build quality is quite high, since there are no creaks or backlashes. Various components of the car's electrical package work without interruption even after several years of operation.

The assembly of the instrument panel is also pleasing, it is made of various plastics. The seat adjustments were made mechanical, but choosing the optimal position is quite easy. Mitsubishi Lancer 9 received only vertical steering wheel adjustment, which is one of the car's shortcomings. In addition, there are no various screens on the instrument panel, only an electronic clock is available.

There is not much space in the back. It will be cramped for three passengers, but there is enough space for two. Although the lack of bright interior elements, in fact, can be attributed to the disadvantages of the Mitsubishi Lancer 9, real motorists do tuning the Lancer 9. It's good that there are a lot of opportunities for customizing the interior.

The cargo compartment of the sedan has a volume of 430 liters, which can be called the average for this segment. When transporting fragile goods, it is necessary to monitor their location, since levers take up a large amount of space.

Specifications Mitsubishi Lancer 9

Test drives of the Mitsubishi Lancer 9 show that the car takes turns very well and is controlled quite easily. Finding an explanation for this is very simple, because the more dynamic counterpart of the conventional sedan was used as a rally car.

Mitsubishi Lancer 9 reviews also show that the car is equipped with a harsh suspension. Although it performs well on highways, its advantages are almost invisible on our roads. If we take into account the cost of spare parts for Japanese cars, drivers have to drive quite carefully.

The range of Mitsubishi Lancer 9 engines consists of three petrol power units.

The 1.3-liter engine is only paired with a manual transmission. Its power is 82 "horses". The version with this engine accelerates to the first “hundred” in 13.7 seconds. The top speed of this car is 171 km/h. Fuel consumption is 6.5 liters per 100 kilometers driven.

A 1.6-liter unit is also available, developing 98 forces. It is available in combination with an automatic transmission or "mechanics". This version accelerates to 183 km / h, the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km / h is 13.7 seconds. Gasoline consumption - 6.7 liters per 100 kilometers.

The two-liter engine can also be paired with a manual transmission and an "automatic". Its power is 135 "horses". Mitsubishi Lancer 9 with such an engine already consumes 8.4 liters per "hundred", but the dynamic performance is more impressive. "Maximum speed" is 206 km / h, and acceleration to 100 km / h lasts 9.6 seconds.

Information about acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is given for versions with a manual transmission, since modifications with automatic transmission are less dynamic.

Mitsubishi Lancer 9 - owner reviews

  • I decided to buy spare parts via the Internet, and I learned a lot to change on my own. If something doesn't work out, WD-40 helps. I decided to use "chipovka", after which the car became more dynamic. This is the best solution with my 1.3 liter engine. True, the consumption is not encouraging - almost 9 liters, which I think is unacceptable for such a volume.
  • I like the car, I have a version with a 1300 "cube" engine. Fifth gear is designed for driving in economy mode, I advise you to overtake in fourth. Air conditioning seriously affects the dynamics. If you load the interior, the consumption increases rapidly, although the car “pulls” normally.
  • I don't like hard suspension. Handling is pleasant, the suspension copes well with various irregularities. The machine does not sway even when cornering at a speed of 90 km/h. You press the accelerator pedal to the floor, and the car does not cease to be well controlled. I also consider the information content of the steering wheel to be an advantage.
  • Among the shortcomings - not very high-quality sound insulation (only enough up to 140 km / h). No economy at all! I have a 1.6-liter version, in summer the Mitsubishi Lancer 9 consumption increases to 11 liters !! I bought a car and the previous owner assured me that the problem was in the filters and consumables, but nothing good happened.

The 9th generation Mitsubishi Lancer was introduced in Japan in the spring of 2000 under the name Lancer Cedia. The model became slightly larger than its predecessor and for the first time acquired a station wagon version.

The European version of the Mitsubishi Lancer 9 has a different design of the front end with a different grille and its own head optics. In addition, the car was twice subjected to minor restyling - in 2003 and 2005.

Mitsubishi Lancer IX was officially delivered to the Russian market only in the sedan, although the right-hand drive station wagon Cedia Wagon is very popular in the secondary market. The overall length of the four-door is 4,535 mm, the wheelbase is 2,600, the width is 1,715, the height is 1,445, the ground clearance (clearance) is 165 millimeters.

In 2007, a new one saw the light, which replaced the ninth generation model. But the demand for the latter on the Russian market turned out to be so great that in the summer of 2009 it was decided to return the Lancer IX to dealerships, but in order to avoid confusion, the car received the Classic prefix to the name.

At the same time, the sedan lost its choice of trim levels and engines. Mitsubishi Lancer 9 Classic was available to buyers with a single 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 98 hp, but not only paired with a 5-speed manual, but also with a 4-band automatic.

This modification spends 11.8 seconds to accelerate from standstill to hundreds, and the maximum speed reaches 183 km / h. The automatic transmission makes the car a little slower: the figures drop to 13.6 seconds. and 176 kilometers per hour, respectively.

The price of Mitsubishi Lancer 9 with manual transmission was 499,000 rubles, and for the version with automatic transmission they asked for 529,000 rubles. The standard equipment of both versions includes two airbags, ABS, air conditioning, front power windows, heated seats and four-speaker audio preparation.

And earlier, Mitsubishi Lancer 9 was also available with a 2.0-liter engine with 135 hp. (176 Nm) and extreme all-wheel drive version, the power unit of which produces 291 forces.

History of the Mitsubishi Lancer IX Dynasty

The first Mitsubishi Lancer was released in 1973. Initially, there were 12 modifications of the car with an engine capacity of 1.2 to 1.6 liters. Initially, the Lancer was a modification of another popular line of Mitsubishi cars and was then called the Mitsubishi Colt Lancer.
In the 70s of the XX century, the Lancer was also produced in a coupe.

1976 - The second model line of Mitsubishi Lancer is released.

1979 - Third generation Mitsubishi Lancer.

1982 - Fourth generation Mitsubishi Lancer.

1983 - fifth generation.

1988 - sixth generation.

1991 - seventh generation.

1995 - eighth generation.

2000 - ninth generation. Mitsubishi Lancer Cedia. Produced for the Asian market only.

2003 - ninth generation for Europe. It has been delivered to Russia since 2004. There were 2 types of bodies: sedan, station wagon.

2007 - tenth generation.

It should also be noted that for the markets of different countries, their own periodization of Lancer generations is used.

On June 17, 2009, an unprecedented event took place: Mitsubishi announced that the ninth generation Mitsubishi Lancer, already withdrawn from sales on its territory, under the name Lancer Classic, will be sold in Russia, although in a sedan and a single configuration, although Lancer has been supplied to Russia since the summer of 2007 tenth generation.

Let's talk briefly about the main and most prominent generations ...

First generation

The Lancer (LA-series in Australia, where it was originally sold as the Chrysler Valiant Lancer) entered production in 1973 and was a rallying success that continues to this day. At the time of its launch, Mitsubishi had a Minica (A-segment) and a compact Galant (C-segment), so Lancer was aiming to fill a niche in the growing Japanese car market in the junior compact car (B-segment) segment. Lancer was released in 12 modifications: from 1.2 liter sedan to 1.6 liter sport versions.

It was produced in 3 bodies: 2-door coupe, 4-door sedans, and, rarely seen, 5-door station wagons.

1.6 l, 85 hp (63 kW)

1.6 l, 100 hp (75 kW)

The MCA-JET system was a newer technology than carbureted engines. MCA (from the English Mitsubishi Clean Air - Russian Mitsubishi clean air) - a fuel vapor recovery system, as well as a crankcase gas emission reduction device, created in order to protect the environment, an original exhaust gas toxicity reduction system was used, making the car fully compliant with all environmental standards of Japan and the USA, while the new design of the engine cylinder heads made it possible to place a third valve (or Jet valve), which provided additional air to the combustion chamber, increasing the efficiency of the fuel oxidation (combustion) process. Another novelty of Lancer is the Silent Shaft technology, which consists of two valves that balance each other, rotating in different directions, thereby reducing the level of vibration and noise and providing a smoother ride. MCA-JET achieved high fuel economy (4.54 l/100 in the 10-mode fuel economy test, and 3.12 l/100 km at 60 km/h in the dyno test).

Japanese modifications and refinement of the car

In 1979, the Lancer EX was shown in Japan with only three types of engines:

1.4 L MCA-JET, with proprietary technology "Mitsubishi's Silent Shaft Technology" (Russian Mitsubishi silent shaft technology) producing 80 hp (60 kW). 1.6 l, 85 hp (63 kW) 1.6 l, 100 hp (75 kW)

The 1.8 L Sirius 80 engine was added to the range in 1980, along with a new 1.2 L (70 hp) engine. Also in 1980, a turbocharged 135 hp (99 kW) engine for sports modifications was introduced, in 1983 - a 165 hp (121 kW) turbocharged and intercooled.

Generation of 1982

In 1982, a new model was launched called the Lancer Fiore, also known as the third version based on the Mitsubishi Mirage. The Fiore was often sold internationally as the Lancer and Mirage Sedan, and as a five-door hatchback that remained in production through most of the 1980s. In Australia, the third version Lanser was sometimes sold under the name Mitsubishi Colt Sedan, which underwent only cosmetic changes. Thus, Mitsibishi had two models of the same class competing in the same market segment.

The following year, the Mirage and Lanser lines were updated to the third generation. The four-door Mirage and the Lancer sedan became one and the same car. Modifications with an injector and turbocharging have become an integral part of the line. In 1985, a station wagon version was added, and it spawned an all-wheel drive version that was gaining momentum. Often the names Mirage (or Colt) were used to designate a three-door hatchback, and the name Lancer was used as a residual.

This model became the basis for the Proton brand Saga sedan, which was produced until early 2008.

Generation of 1988 -

For Russia IV generation

In 1988, the fourth generation Mitsubishi Lancer was born. The car was distinguished by a more aerodynamic appearance and sporty style. In general, the style of the model was very similar to the appearance of its older brother - Galant. The fourth generation of the car retained only three bodies - 3 and 5-door hatchback and sedan. So the car existed on the market until 1992. The station wagon was produced on the old platform of the previous generation.

For Russia V generation

It wasn't until 1991 that there was a huge difference between the Mitsubishi Lancer and Mitsubishi Mirage. And, despite the fact that both machines were built on the same platform, there was still a difference between the machines. The Mirage was sold in North America as the Eagle Summit, a minivan version called the Mitsubishi Space Runner and Mitsubishi Chariot, these vehicles were mechanically related and had many of the same technical features.

In 1993, a station wagon version appeared on the market, in the domestic market it was called Libero. Later, the Japanese even introduced an electric version of the model, equipped with NiCd batteries, it had the “EV” postscript, which personified its origin. Then, in 1993, in September, the company introduced the Lancer Evolution to the market, the engine for the charged version of the popular model was a compact turbocharged V6, borrowed from the rally Galant RL-4.

The fifth generation of the model was produced until 1995. Three bodies were presented on the market (coupe, sedan, station wagon). The car was built on a proprietary platform "CB2A-CB4A-CD9A". 10 different engines, three gearboxes - the power equipment of the novelty was truly amazing.

The wheelbase of the sedan was 2500 mm, the coupe was 60 mm shorter.

Generation 2000

For Russia IX generation

The car was built on the platform "CS2A-CS5W". In 2003, the company arranged a facelift for the Lancer model. The new corporate style was to the taste of thousands of motorists and the car gained a second wind - the popularity of the model began to increase rapidly compared to its previous success in the market, which, without that, I must say, was quite good. In 2006, the company held another mini-facelift, which touched exclusively on the grille - then the Lancer became what we see it now. He received the postscript Mitsubishi Lancer IX.

The car was equipped with seven different engines - from 1.3-liter to 2.4-liter. The wheelbase of the car was 2600 mm., Length - from 4495 mm. up to 4605 mm., width - 1695 mm., height - from 1375 mm. up to 1425 mm.

In addition to the facelift in 2004, charged versions of the updated model were born - Ralliart and Sportback. Both cars were equipped with a branded top-end 2.4-liter engine. Engineers set it up differently: Ralliart produced 162 hp, Sportback - 160 hp. The second version was aggregated with a 4-speed automatic type INVECS-II.

The car was a success not only in the US and European markets, but also in Australia, Pakistan, India, the Philippines, and Malaysia.

Generation 2007 -

For Russia X generation

In Japan, this model is called Galant (that's why Galant died in Russia).

The tenth generation or, as they say, Mitsubishi Lancer X, appeared before the public for the first time in 2005. Then the car had the appearance of a concept car and was referred to as the Concept-X. It was first shown at the Tokyo Motor Show. The Concept-Sportback premiered in Frankfurt. The new Lancer was based on these two models. The tenth generation began to be produced in 2007, and is still being produced. The car is sold in different markets under different names: Galant Fortis in Japan, Lancer Fortis in Taiwan, Lancer EX in Singapore and the Middle East, Lancer Serie R in Chile, Lancer EX in Panama and Thailand.

Mitsubishi Lancer X is available in two body styles: sedan (GS41) and hatchback/sportback (GS44S). Presented on the market in front- and all-wheel drive versions. Built on the “CY2A–CZ4A” platform, it is equipped with five different engines and three transmissions to choose from. The wheelbase of the tenth Lancer sedan is 2615 mm, length - 4523 mm, width - 1760 mm, height - 1460 mm.

In the European market, the car is offered with two engines of the buyer's choice: a 140-horsepower petrol and a 2.0-liter diesel engine developed by the German concern Volkswagen. In 2008, the company introduced a charged version of the tenth generation Lancer - Mitsubshi Lancer X Ralliart. The premiere of the car took place in Detroit. The machine is equipped with the latest TC-SST transmission and all-wheel drive.

Throughout the history of its development, the Mitsubishi Lancer model has been recognized as one of the most popular models of the brand and this does not raise any questions. Affordable price, excellent quality and practicality are the key features of this car.

Petrol engine Mitsubishi Lancer 9 1.6 l. with a cast-iron cylinder block and a timing belt became quite popular in our country in the mid-2000s. The engine has a fairly simple design. Despite the 16-valve timing mechanism, there is only one camshaft. We will talk about all the features of the power unit further.

Engine device Lancer 9 1.6 l.

Mitsubishi 4G18 engine with a volume of 1.6 liters appeared in the process of upgrading and increasing the working volume of the base engine 4G13 with a volume of 1.3 liters, which was developed back in 1983. But up to the 1.6 liter version there was a 1.5 liter 4G15 model, the 1.5 and 1.6 liter Mitsubishi engines are structurally identical. The difference in working volume is only due to the different stroke of the piston. But we will not delve into the history of the formation of this motor.

Mitsubishi Lancer 9 has an in-line 4-cylinder 16-valve engine with a cast-iron block and a timing belt under the hood. A design feature can be called SOHC V16 - the upper arrangement of one camshaft for 16 valves. Delphi MT20U2 electronic engine management system, this is a multi-point fuel injection system, direct ignition without the use of a distributor.

Cylinder head of the engine Lancer 9 1.6 l.

Mitsubishi Lancer 9 cylinder head has a rather interesting design. The camshaft is inserted inside the head, which is the large bearing housing for the camshaft. The camshaft cams run onto the rocker arms, which are mounted on top and fixed on common axles. Up to a certain point, such a design did not have hydraulic compensators. To adjust the gap, you had to rotate a special adjusting bolt with a nut. But a little later, hydraulic lifters were still introduced into the design. The bulk of the cars that were sold in Russia through official dealers have hydraulic lifters.

Timing drive Mitsubishi Lancer 9 1.6 l.

Timing drive, as we already mentioned, is belt driven. The drive design is quite simple and includes a crankshaft pulley, a camshaft pulley and an idler pulley with a special tension spring. After aligning the marks, it is enough to loosen the roller bolt and the spring will tension the belt itself, after which the tension roller bolt must be tightened to a torque of 20-26 Nm. The belt is replaced every 90 thousand kilometers. When the timing belt breaks, the valves bend.
