Ingredients:
sugar - 2 tbsp. l.;
salt - a pinch;
dry yeast - 1 tbsp. l.;
water - 1 tbsp.;
wheat flour - 400 gr.;
sunflower oil- 2-3 tbsp. l.

Cooking method:

No matter what they cook, no matter how sophisticated they are, sometimes you want the simplest and most ordinary donuts.
I don’t have a very friendly relationship with dough and therefore baking something is always a little problematic for me, but I still can’t not bake anything at all! So this time I decided to please my friends with simple, tasty, quickly prepared donuts. Why this recipe? And without adding eggs? I answer - with eggs, crumpets quickly become stale and therefore I do not add them, but if anyone has a desire - 2 eggs.
Initially, as indicated in the photo, I pour sugar and a lot of salt into an aluminum bowl. I stir.

Since I am preparing a small amount of dough so that there are not a lot of crumpets, then water is enough for me, in an amount of 300 to 500 milliliters. The water should be warm, not cool, but such that you can hold your finger.
I pour water into a bowl, mix sugar, salt in it and add 1 tablespoon of dry yeast. I leave it like this for a few minutes so that the yeast dissolves in the water.

I mix everything. As much flour is needed as required. The rest of the flour can be removed later.

After mixing, pour about 2-3 tablespoons of sunflower oil into a cup with yeast dough and roll the dough in this oil.

Cover with a towel and leave to infuse in a warm room for about 30 minutes.

The dough has risen, after the set time, I start baking the donuts.

I coat my hands in sunflower oil and form (by carefully tearing off) small donuts. I fry everything over a fire, a little more than medium, so that the oil is not too absorbed into the dough, and since the donuts are small, they fry quickly.

I put the resulting donuts in a cup and pour honey on top of each one.

When the donuts are still hot, the honey melts and soaks into the bun. Just right with hot, freshly brewed loose leaf tea!

Bon appetit.

From the huge variety of homemade baked goods, sometimes you want the simplest donuts, like our mothers and grandmothers used to make. And they were very tasty, right? Today we will bake yeast crumpets without eggs. The composition of the products is minimal, which is good news, and absolutely every housewife can prepare it.

At the same time, let’s remember how we loved to enjoy the simplest baked goods in childhood. What did you like to eat them with, with honey, sour cream or just like that, with hot tea or cold milk.

Recipe for crumpets with yeast

Products:

Milk or water - 300 ml

Dry yeast – 1 tbsp incomplete

Salt - 1 tsp without top

Butter – 80-90 g

Flour – 480-500 g

Vegetable oil for frying

Preparation:

Preparing the dough

Add sugar, salt and yeast to warm water, mix everything and leave for 10 minutes.

Add 1 cup flour, mix thoroughly. Pour in the melted butter (warm, but not hot), stir.

After we have mixed the butter, gradually add the remaining flour. You may need a little more or less flour, so add it in small portions.

Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, it should not stick to your hands. If you see that there is not enough flour, add a little, but the amount indicated in the recipe was enough for me.

Cover the bowl with the dough with a napkin and place it in a warm place, the dough should increase 2-2.5 times.

Additionally, knead the dough and leave it so that it does not need to rise again, it has increased in volume, you can start cutting the crumpets.

Cutting and baking yeast crumpets

Sprinkle the work surface with flour and lay out the dough. Divide into small pieces, about the size of an apple. Roll out with a rolling pin or just with your hands.

Fry the crumpets in a frying pan on both sides with a little oil.

Fried crumpets with water and soda

Today there are a huge number of recipes for preparing a wide variety of homemade baked goods and desserts for every taste. They are full of originality, abundance of ingredients and richness of taste and aroma. But sometimes you really want simple homemade crumpets that our grandmothers and mothers fried. They are great with sour cream, honey or just tea or milk. And unsweetened donuts are quite suitable instead of bread for any dishes.

Fried crumpets with water and soda

Ingredients:

  • wheat flour - approximately 480-500 g;
  • filtered water – 550 ml;
  • salt – 15 g;
  • granulated sugar – 25 g;
  • baking soda – 12 g;
  • vegetable oil for frying.

Preparation

Pour salt and half a teaspoon of baking soda into filtered water, stir until the crystals dissolve and add the sifted flour and mix again. The initial consistency of the dough should be like pancakes. Now crush another half teaspoon of soda over the surface of the dough and mix it well. This simple nuance will give the finished crumpets some airiness. Next, add more flour and knead into a soft pliable dough. We make cakes out of it, which we roll out with a rolling pin or knead with our hands to a thickness of about ten to fifteen millimeters. We make several cuts along the surface on top.

Fry the crumpets in heated vegetable oil over low heat and serve.

Ingredients:

  • wheat flour – 500-520 g;
  • filtered water – 310 ml;
  • salt – 10 g;
  • granulated sugar – 70 g;
  • – 110 g;
  • dry yeast – 15-20 g;
  • vegetable oil for frying.

Preparation

Dissolve granulated sugar, salt and yeast in water heated to a pleasant warmth and let it stand for fifteen minutes in a warm place. During this time, the yeast will begin its work and the mass will foam.

Then add a glass of sifted flour, mix and add melted butter. Add the rest of the flour in small portions and make a soft dough. Knead it for ten minutes, cover with a towel and place in a warm place.

When the volume of the dough has doubled or tripled, we begin baking the donuts.

To do this, pinch off a small amount of it, form a flat cake and roll it out with a rolling pin or your hands. Fry in a heated frying pan with vegetable oil on both sides over moderate heat. Let the rosy donuts cool slightly and serve.

Step 1: Prepare the dough.

In fact, there is nothing complicated about kneading yeast dough: the main thing is a good mood and an accurate recipe. So, slightly heat the water (in a kettle), pour it into a bowl and dilute the dry yeast in it. Then add sugar, and approx. half a cup of flour . Mix carefully. The dough should resemble liquid sour cream. Cover with a towel and let it rise ().

approximately 20 minutes

Step 2: Knead express yeast dough for pies, pies and donuts. After the dough rises, add a glass of milk

(slightly heated in advance in the microwave), butter (by the way, it needs to be softened at room temperature in advance), vegetable oil, eggs and half the remaining flour. We begin to knead the soft dough. If there is not enough flour, add it in more portions. Please note that the dough should be soft, not hard.

Step 3: Serve express yeast dough for pies, pies and donuts.
I immediately started making the pies. For this, I prepared two fillings in advance: eggs with herbs, and apples with sugar. You probably know how to make pies: pinch off a small piece of dough, knead it with your hands, and then roll it into a circle, in the middle of which we put about 2 tablespoons of filling and pinch the edges in the middle. I like to bake pies in the oven at a temperature

180 degrees

, or fry them in a cauldron in a large amount of oil.

Choose at your own discretion.
