Next is the elevator, and behind it are the yellow doors to the laboratory where Niko was killed. Inspect the doors: you need a magnetic card here. Along the stairs there is a door to the security room, but... It's daytime and it's locked. On the wall hangs a stand with Mendeleev's periodic table.

Get into the elevator and go to the second floor. Go right and check out the stand with interesting facts about electricity. Pay attention to the red and blue circles next to the text - these are nothing more than numbers in binary code. Four red circles are drawn at the bottom - this is how the number “0” is indicated in the game. It is better to take a photo or write down the numbers from 0 to 15, because... they will be used repeatedly in the game.

Open the blue doors and examine the motorcycle. Take the second keychain with the skull.

Walk forward, where a red-haired girl is working against the far wall. Nancy will dodge a piece of iron flying at her head and, when meeting, will not shake hands with a new acquaintance (her name is Ryan).

After a short conversation, approach the workbench with pliers and examine the remote control for some device. Note that it has a purple sticker with an "O" and an arrow on it. Remember the location of the arrow. Open the top left drawer of the cabinet and take a blank magnetic card from the pocket on the door. Rummage through the folders and find a multi-colored piece of paper. Go out into the corridor and past the elevator to the orange doors.

A Tesla coil consists of two windings (the first winding creates a magnetic field that transfers current to the second winding; the second winding creates high voltage), a toroid that releases electricity, capacitors (which maintain energy while the coil is charging), and a spark gap. In turn, a Faraday cage can be made from an ordinary cardboard box, which must be wrapped in aluminum foil and grounded using a paper clip and clamp. It is logical to assume that when experimenting with a Tesla coil, physicists use a Faraday cage as protection.

There's nothing else to do here, so head to Nancy's room. The lights will immediately go out, and you will have no choice but to walk through the living room in the dark and set the alarm to “night.”

You have already seen the hint at Gray's stand - in 5 moves you need to turn all the lights green.

Solution:

The monitors will turn on. Now you need to enter the password into Gray's computer. A hint is at the same stand: you need to enter all the numbers using their binary code. This puzzle can be solved simply: start from some point, for example, from the top. Count down three circles and click on the fourth - all numbers in which the specified combination occurs will go out, and the clasps next to them will unfasten. Click on three circles in a row to enter the number 15, and then look at the combination of the remaining blue and red circles.

In the "Security" folder you can watch videos. You have already found two numbers:

"LBTY510258" (Police Report) and "HLLW510257" (Mason's Computer). Take turns typing these numbers and look at Ryan, who enters the laboratory at 11:34, without putting her magnetic card into the lock, and Niko, who enters the internal laboratory.

To open the "Magnetic cards" folder, you need to enter another password.

Move the table to the right of the mouse and insert a blank card into the "Card keyer" device. Pay attention to the next sticker with a letter and an arrow. Pick up the black button nearby (you can pick it up later).

If you write all the letters on the stickers clockwise (including the letter on Ryan's remote) and follow the arrows on each sticker, you should get "VFRWDOQGGUHZ". This abracadabra is the password to the "Magnetic cards" folder.

Try the locker door - it's locked. Turn to the right: the computer does not work, there is another incomprehensible device on the right. Nearby is a book with instructions. Read the book.

You will learn how to use a program and a 3D printer to make a model, into which resin will be poured into the printer according to the shape of the object. The process takes half a day.

The device in the darkroom is called an "engraver". It transfers a sample from paper or any other medium to the board. In order for the “engraver” to work, you need to program the microcircuit on the computer, find the board and make a chemical reagent in order to etch the design on the board. This process also takes half a day.

Go out to the laboratory. The 3D printer is to the left of the stairs, and to the right is the chemistry lab. Next to the darkroom door is a small model of a Tesla coil. Touch the model for Nancy to determine that it is broken.

Turn left and go into the inner laboratory, where there is a large Tesla coil and a Faraday cage. Inspect the Tesla coil and click on the capacitor block (you need to find them somewhere), then look into the spark gap - something is missing here too.

Zoom into the floor and in the upper left corner of the screen, select the sixth keychain for your mobile phone - a lightning bolt.

Climb the stairs and examine the combination lock to the control cabin - a code is needed here.

2. Day two

In the morning, Nancy will automatically answer the call from Deirdre Shannon, whom you know from one of the previous games in the series. She is studying criminology and can help with the investigation.

Examine the living room: the button found in Gray's desk fits the electric stove. Opposite the kitchen is a work table with tape and paper clips. Nearby there is a bookshelf and a portrait of Tesla.

Go up to Ryan (who will squeal this time). It turns out that she is assembling a robot cat, but she is missing parts. Helping Ryan is an optional task and is not marked anywhere.

You can go to Mason and ask about his mood - he will say that he is very angry because someone touched the paper clips and pencils.

Help Ryan find the robot cat's parts. The tail lies in Nancy's bedroom on the table near the alarm clock, one paw is on the table in the living room. The torso is in the laboratory.

Another paw lies in the darkroom. All other parts can be taken at night.

Now that you've talked to Ryan about repairing both Tesla coils, the computer in the darkroom is activated.

The second option is to pour out the unnecessary stuff by clicking on the door with a bright sticker on the bottom shelf on the right. You can also throw away the finished bottle there.

You have two test tubes of 3 and 4 measures, a white flask in which you need to mix the reagent, and brown bottles on the left on the top shelf to pour the finished reagent from the flask into.

Open the book with chemical reactions and find the line about silicon (Si).

You will need to make a mixture of 3 parts hydrogen fluoride, 1 part nitric acid and 4 parts water.

Now we need to fix the capacitors. Head to the inner lab and open the top compartment in the large Tesla coil. A hint for placement is in the blue book that you carry in your inventory. It is written in red felt-tip pen to the left of the picture that there should not be capacitors of the same color in each column and each row. For the senior detective, there should still be no intersections along the diagonals. Chains can be rotated with the right mouse button.

All that remains is to open the lock to the coil control cabin. Go up the stairs. There is a lock with five symbols on the door. You found the clue in Ellie's desk.

4. Day four
