Since in a more detailed study of work orders from Soffit, I suddenly realized that on the TO-0 I made, the oil was replaced only in the rear axle. It was already six months ago, so it’s hard to say what exactly happened: either I said something wrong, or we didn’t understand each other with the receiving master.
Thus, you first need to purchase oil for the internal combustion engine and front axle.
Since the last oil change, I still have about 3 liters of engine oil left, so I bought one 4-liter Lukoil canister for the engine:

Like last time, I buy oil at a Lukoil gas station, where, as I also mentioned earlier, the chance to stumble upon a fake is minimal.
I made an appointment at the service station for the next day.
During a routine check, the master revealed some wear and tear on the generator drive belt. We have heard a lot about this feature of factory parts, so I agreed with the recommendation of the master to replace the belt. A low coolant level was also noticed. This misunderstanding has also been corrected.
All work took about 4 hours, except for washing the car, therefore, my recommendation: you should take care of your leisure in advance for the duration of the maintenance work.
In total, according to the works and materials of the service station, cost of TO-1 amounted to 7343 rubles. If we take into account the oil I bought, then this is another two thousand rubles. So in the end: ~ 9400 rubles.
classic model
The SUV UAZ 3163 Patriot was put into production at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant in 2005. He became the successor to the UAZ 3160 and, which appeared in 1997 and 2000, respectively. Its main difference from previous models was the use of a large number of imported parts.
The UAZ Patriot is equipped with European steering, braking, heating and air conditioning systems. In addition, the car has a Dymos gearbox and comfortable seats manufactured by the South Korean corporation DAWNSCO.
Some cars were equipped with an imported Iveco F1A diesel engine, but later it was replaced by a domestic ZMZ 51432 engine that meets higher environmental standards. All other parts, including the chassis, transfer case and bridges, remained domestic.
Thanks to modernization, UAZ repairs on their own became much less frequently required. Despite this, the need to carry out regular maintenance of the Patriot remains, since it is very difficult to find a reliable UAZ car service.
Diagnostic work

Maintenance of the UAZ 3163 Patriot car consists in the timely replacement of consumables and carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance. This helps to extend the life of the car without breakdowns.

Changing the oil in the car
After passing every 30,00 km, such work is carried out.
- Cleaning and flushing the crankcase ventilation system, replacing the air filter element.
- Flushing of gas tanks and a mesh filter of an electric fuel pump (EBN).
- Cleaning the engine lubrication system.
- Changing the oil in the axles and wheel bearings, tightening the bolts of the rear brake shields and front pins.
Replacement of the electronic control unit, injectors, idle speed regulator, pressure regulator, converter, ignition coil, adsorber and all power unit control sensors is carried out every 80,000 km. Cleaning the generator and starter from dirt, checking the condition of the brushes and collector, replacing the brushes (recommended) are carried out after passing every 40,000 km.
The tightening of the crankshaft and alternator pulleys is carried out only after running in. Once every 2 years, the brake fluid and hydraulic booster oil are replaced. Antifreeze is changed every 3 years.
During its history of production, UAZ received several engine options. Gasoline engines had an engine capacity of 2.7 liters, but the diesel version had 2.2 and 2.3. The bulk of the vehicles received power units produced by ZMZ, but the diesel version was with an Iveco F1A engine.

Maintenance of a UAZ Patriot diesel engine is somewhat different from a gasoline one. So, the answer to the question - how much oil to fill in the engine will be different. The volume of oil required for a change is 7 liters, and it fits directly into the engine - 7.4 liters.

- Vacuum pump failure.
- Cut off the oil pump drive or intermediate shaft.
