Motorists from around the world have been languishing for a long time in anticipation of the premiere of the new brainchild of Toyota Corporation, which was scheduled for the summer of 2015. A new modification of the Land Cruiser 200 2016 was presented to the general public in Japan. This restyled version of the popular SUV, the photo of which can be seen below, immediately attracted the attention of fans of large and passable cars, who are closely following all the current trends in the automotive industry. Despite the fact that the presentation of the new Toyota Cruiser 200 in a new body took place just a couple of days after the world premiere of the 2016 Lexus, the appearance of this SUV did not go unnoticed.
Specifications
The SUV will come to the domestic automotive market in 9 color options (in the photo you can see the car in only a few colors). This time, the manufacturer has slightly expanded the usual palette, so that drivers will also have access to cars in Dark Blue Mica and Copper Brown Mica color variations.
The updated SUV has so far been presented only in the right-hand drive version, which went on sale in Japanese car dealerships. The LHD 2016 Cruiser 200 will be delivered to the world market a little later. The new brainchild of a corporation from Japan is equipped with a massive radiator grille, on which there are large crossbars with a chrome finish.
The headlights of the Land Cruiser 200 have also undergone changes, which now have a rectangular shape, and foglights, unlike previous versions of Toyota, “received as a gift” more compact dimensions. The last significant changes in the appearance of the Cruiser 200 can be seen by looking at the hood, which, thanks to modernization, can “boast” a new surface relief (photos of this SUV were published in many media at the beginning of the year). 
Toyota Cruiser 200 2016 is equipped with a diesel power unit, the volume of which is 4.5 liters, and the power is 271 horsepower. The four-cylinder engine is equipped with an automatic transmission with six speeds. As planned by the manufacturer, the new SUV will consume 30% less fuel, thanks to which drivers will significantly reduce the cost of its maintenance. The second version of the power equipment is represented by a gasoline engine, the volume of which is 4.6 liters. As for the power capabilities of the SUV, there is also an improvement in performance: the return reaches 418 horsepower. 
Studying the technical characteristics of the Japanese novelty of 2016, one cannot fail to note its running capabilities (photos and videos of crash tests are already on the Internet). Thanks to all-wheel drive and a solid hodovka, the car can easily overcome any road obstacles. An SUV with such parameters will move smoothly both on high-quality asphalt and on difficult rural roads.

Corporation engineers have worked hard to develop a new version of Toyota. Thanks to their diligence, the SUV began to be equipped with a large amount of electronics:
- climate control;

- advanced anti-lock braking system (ABS);
- system of simultaneous control of the front and rear wheels;
- the basic equipment is equipped with improved optics, etc.
Also worth noting is the new steering wheel, which, unlike its predecessor, has become more functional. The redesigned center console has pleasantly pleased fans of this automobile brand. It has become more modern and contains a huge number of sensors and options. Separately, it is worth highlighting the 9-inch monitor included in the main multimedia system. Analyzing the technical characteristics of the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser 200, it is worth noting a system that allows you to constantly monitor the level of tire pressure. Drivers can, without leaving the passenger compartment, look under the bottom of their cars and visually assess the integrity of components and assemblies. 
In this modification, the manufacturer has improved the technical characteristics of the car, and paid great attention to its level of safety, which is represented by the Toyota Safety Sense system. In addition to airbags and seat belts, it includes the following systems:
- giving a signal to the driver about an approaching obstacle;
- auto braking and road marking control;
- tracking objects in the dead zone;
- automatically switching the headlights from high to low and vice versa;
- providing a panoramic view, etc.
Price Land Cruiser 200 2016
The restyled Toyota Cruiser 200 of 2016 has a fairly high cost, which is affected by both technical characteristics and the level of comfort. In the Land of the Rising Sun, this modification of Toyota is valued at 4,728,437 yen (the price in Russian rubles is 2,500,000). In the basic version, domestic motorists will be able to purchase this SUV for 75,000 US dollars. For a more prestigious option, fans of the Japanese brand will have to pay 15 thousand more (the price can reach $ 90,000). Despite the not very democratic pricing policy, the owners of this new product will be able to recoup it by saving fuel costs. 
A more accurate price will be known when the car enters the Russian market. Domestic car dealerships expect SUVs to arrive in the first half of 2016, about which fans of this brand will be notified in a timely manner. In the meantime, Russian drivers can study the photo of the novelty of the Japanese automobile industry, which has already been printed by almost all the media and make assumptions about what the price will be on it.
